India signs MoU with Mongolia to Boost People-to-people Ties, Announces Free E-visas
India and Mongolia, in October 2025, took a significant step forward in strengthening their cultural and developmental partnership, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi announcing free e-visas for Mongolian citizens and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cultural and people-to-people ties.
"The MoU signed between the Autonomous Hill Development Council and Mongolia's Arkhangai Province will give a fresh boost to our cultural ties... Even though we do not share a border, India has always considered Mongolia a close neighbour. We will continue to strengthen people-to-people ties. We have decided to provide free e-visas to Mongolian citizens. And we will sponsor the annual visit of young cultural ambassadors from Mongolia to India," PM Modi said.

Addressing the event, Culture and Tourism Minister of Delhi, Kapil Mishra, said that the event will unlock the city's potential for wildlife and eco-tourism. He highlighted that tourism in Delhi has mostly been focused on historical and archaeological sites, but this step will help explore the capital's rich biodiversity.

IndiGo Becomes First Indian Carrier to Connect India to Cambodia
IndiGo announced the launch of direct flights between Kolkata and Siem Reap, Cambodia from 13 November 2025. IndiGo will operate these flights three times a week using its Airbus A320neo aircraft. This makes IndiGo the first Indian carrier to offer direct connectivity between the two countries, as the airline further enhances its network in Southeast Asia.
