President Murmu Receives Second Volume of 'Wings to Our Hopes' and 'Aashaon Ki Udaan'

President Droupadi Murmu was presented with the first copies of the second volume of the books 'Wings to Our Hopes' and 'Aashaon Ki Udaan' at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The books were officially released by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre, in the presence of Minister of Information & Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting L. Murugan.
These volumes, published by the Directorate of Publications Division under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, comprise a collection of 51 selected speeches delivered by President Murmu during her second year in office.

Launch of the Book 'Reimagining Jammu & Kashmir: A Pictorial Journey'

Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, hosted a book launch and photo exhibition titled 'Reimagining Jammu & Kashmir: A Pictorial Journey' by noted photojournalist Ashish Sharma, published by Bloomsbury. Organised by the Kala Nidhi Division of IGNCA, the event took place at Samvet Auditorium, IGNCA, New Delhi, and brought together esteemed dignitaries, scholars, and cultural practitioners in celebration of the visual narrative and evolving identity of Jammu & Kashmir.
The event was graced by Manoj Sinha, Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, as the Chief Guest, and Meenakshi Lekhi, former Minister of State for Culture and External Affairs.
The purpose of this book is to portray the changing landscape of Jammu and Kashmir—its cultural heritage, natural beauty, and the resilience and hope of its people. The author, Ashish Sharma, is himself a native of Kashmir and has witnessed decades of struggle, fear, and transformation up close. His inspiration was to present to the world the true image of his homeland—its peace, progress, and vibrant life.

P. Chidambaram Launched the Book 'Contesting Democratic Deficit'

Senior Congress leader P. Chidambaram launched the book 'Contesting Democratic Deficit'.
The book is co-authored by former Union Minister Salman Khurshid and Mritunjay Singh Yadav.
The book focuses on Congress' revival efforts ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, covering events from the emotionally-charged "Bharat Jodo Yatra" to the "historic" formation of the INDIA bloc comprising diverse political forces.

Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar released the autobiography 'Janta Ki Kahani – Meri Aatamkatha' authored by Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatraya at a special ceremony held at Maharashtra Sadan, New Delhi. The event witnessed heartfelt tributes, political camaraderie, and reflections on a life devoted to public service and social welfare.
The Vice-President praised the book for presenting the struggles and triumphs of public life.
