Singh added that the MP had meticulously researched and compiled facts for this book, among three others, celebrating the sacrifices of unsung revolutionaries.

PM Receives Parimal Nathwani's Book on Gir and Asiatic Lions

Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani, presented the first copy of his new book 'Call of the Gir' to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a small family get-together at the PM's residence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the book Call of the Gir written by Rajya Sabha Member Parimal Nathwani.
Nathwani dedicated the book to PM Modi 'for being the visionary behind Project Lion and Lion@2047: Vision for Amrit Kaal'. The book also contains a message from the PM. During informal conversation with Nathwani, Modi enquired about the status of tourism in Gir and emphasised the need to increase the infrastructure so as to attract foreign tourists in Gir. He also said that forestation around the periphery of Gir sanctuary was the need of the hour.

Sudipta Sengupta, a name that resonates with groundbreaking achievements in geology and mountaineering, is the subject of a new book titled 'Breaking Rocks and Barriers' released in July 24 by HarperCollins India. This book offers a captivating glimpse into the life of one of India's most remarkable women scientists and adventurers.
In 1983, Sengupta etched her name in history as one of the first Indian women to set foot in Antarctica. She was a crucial member of the Third Indian Expedition to Antarctica, which took place from December 3, 1983, to March 25, 1984. This expedition marked a significant milestone in India's scientific pursuits and gender equality in field research.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan Unveils Four Books

Union Minister for Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled four books, 'Wings to Our Hopes'; 'Aashaon Ki Udaan'; 'Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki'; and 'Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present' along with Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting (I&B). L. Murugan and Secretary, I&B, Sanjay Jaju.
The books 'Wings to Our Hopes' and 'Aashaon Ki Udaan' are the collection of selected speeches of President Droupadi Murmu during first year of her Presidency. 'Kahani Rashtrapati Bhavan Ki' is a book for children which includes information about Rashtrapati Bhavan and President Droupadi Murmu in an interesting manner and simple language. 'Rashtrapati Bhavan: Heritage Meets the Present' is a pictorial representation of the history and architecture of Rashtrapati Bhavan and contains information about all the former Presidents. Information about President Droupadi Murmu and pictures of the major events of current Presidency are also part of the book.
