SAIL Wins Eight National Awards for Communication Excellence
Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) was conferred with eight national awards by the Public Relations Society of India (PRSI).
These PRSI National Awards 2024 were given away at the 46th All India Public Relations Conference held at Raipur. SAIL was recognised in various categories viz. E-Newsletter for SAIL Track, Corporate Film (English), Best Communication Campaigns (Internal Publics) for SAIL Gaurav Diwas celebration, House Journal (English) for SAIL News, Best PR Programme for Promoting Science & Technology for steel plant technologies, Best Use of Social Media in a Corporate Campaign for promoting green steel, Corporate Website, as well as Annual Report.

IREDA Bags Triple Honours at 14th PSE Excellence Awards
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) was honoured with three awards at the 14th PSE Excellence Awards ceremony, organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in New Delhi. The company won Gold Awards in the Mini Ratna category for Corporate Governance and Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability. Additionally, IREDA received the Silver Award for Operational Performance Excellence."
The awards were presented by Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, Former Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises, and Apurv Kumar Mishra, Member, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister. Team IREDA, comprising Ms. Mala Ghosh Choudhury, General Manager (HR); S. K. Sharma, General Manager (F&A); Ms. Durre Shahwar, Additional General Manager (HR); and other officials, received the awards.

Jaishankar Receives Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Award for Leadership
External Affairs Minister S. Narendra Modi Conferred with Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer by Kuwait
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was on a two-day visit to Kuwait, was awarded the country's highest honour–the 'Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer' by his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The honour is a Kuwaiti knighthood awarded to Heads of State, foreign sovereigns, and members of foreign royal families as a symbol of friendship.
This award is the 20th international honour in the list of international awards Modi was conferred with by foreign nations.

Bhutan Confers Royal Honour on Indian Educationist Arun Kapur
Indian educationist Arun Kapur, known for his contributions to education in India, Bhutan, and Oman, was honoured by Bhutan's King Jigme Khesar Namgyel. At the 117th Bhutanese National Day celebrations, held at the Changlimithang stadium in Thimphu, Kapur was conferred the prestigious Red Scarf and the title 'Dasho', a rare honour usually given to senior Bhutanese officials. This marks another milestone in his long-standing association with Bhutan's educational development.
