Indian Navy Deploys P-8I for RIMPAC 2026 in Hawaii

The Indian Navy has deployed a Boeing-built P-8I long-range maritime patrol aircraft for the Rim of the Pacific exercise (RIMPAC) 2026 in Hawaii. RIMPAC 2026, the world’s largest international maritime exercise, runs from 24 June to 31 July 2026 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and features about 30 to 31 nations, 30 to 40 surface ships, five submarines, and between 140 and 206 aircraft, with roughly 25,000 to 30,000 personnel.
