David Willey to retire from international cricket after World Cup 2023
The 33-year-old made his debut for England in 2015 and since then he has earned 70 ODI caps and 43 in T20Is.
England all-rounder David Willey has announced that he will retire from international cricket at the end of the ODI World Cup
He amassed 627 runs in the 50-over format and scalped 94 wickets at an average of 30.3 and an economy of 5.57.
In T20I he struck 226 runs and picked up 51 wickets at an average of 23.1 and an economy of 8.18.
Koppu Sadashiv Murthy takes charge as CMD of BHEL
Koppu Sadashiv Murthy has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL).
Prior to this, Koppu Sadashiv Murthy was the Executive Director of the Corporate Operations Management group at BHEL, and also simultaneously held additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director of Bharat Pumps and Compressors Limited (BPCL).
An Electrical Engineering graduate from Bhopal University with an MBA in Finance, Koppu Sadashiv Murthy joined BHEL in 1989 at its Jhansi manufacturing unit.
During his 34 years of years of wide-ranging and hands-on experience in BHEL's Corporate Office and in various manufacturing units such as Hyderabad, Bhopal, Jhansi, and Varanasi, Murthy has developed a comprehensive set of competencies in strategic, operational, project and commercial management.

RBI appoints Manoranjan Mishra as Executive Director effective from Nov 1
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday announced the appointment of Manoranjan Mishra as Executive Director (ED) with effect from November 1, 2023.
As the ED he will be looking after the Enforcement Directorate, Risk Monitoring Department and Department of External Investments & Operations.
Before taking charge as the Executive Director, he was the Chief General Manager in the Department of Regulation of RBI. He has over three decades of experience in RBI after working across departments including regulations of banking and NBFC, supervision of banks and currency management. He has served as a member in several Working Groups at the national and international levels contributing to formulation of regulatory/ supervisory policies.
Justice Rajendra Menon re-appointed as Chairman of Armed Forces Tribunal
Justice Menon will serve as Chairman of the Tribunal till he attains the age of 70 years on June 6, 2027.
Former Delhi High Court Chief Justice Rajendra Menon has been re-appointed as Chairman of the Armed Forces Tribunal (AFT) for four years.
The former judge was first recommended to the post in 2019 and served for four years.
Justice Menon was elevated as an additional judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court on April 1, 2002.
Zydus acquires UK's LiqMeds Grp for 68m
Homegrown pharma major Zydus Lifesciences Limited on Tuesday announced it has acquired UK-based LiqMeds Group of companies. The acquisition has been made through Zydus' wholly-owned subsidiary, Zydus Pharmaceuticals UK Limited, the company said in its stock exchange filing. LiqMeds has capabilities and specialisation in development, manufacturing and supply of oral liquid products for global markets, which it currently commercialises through its partners.
