Dempo receives Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia from Italy

Shrinivas Dempo, chairperson of the Dempo Group, was conferred the Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia (Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy) for his role in assisting Italian citizens and investments in Goa. The ceremony, held in Goa, was conducted by the Italian consul general in Mumbai, Walter Ferrara. Dempo also serves as honorary vice consul of Italy in Goa and helped facilitate support for Italian nationals in the state. KSTA bestows Lifetime Achievement Award on two senior scientists

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang Conferred 2026 IEEE Medal of Honour

In January 2026, Jensen Huang, Chief Executive Officer of NVIDIA, was conferred the 2026 IEEE Medal of Honour, the highest recognition awarded by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This prestigious honour includes a USD 2 million cash prize, marking the second consecutive year IEEE has attached a monetary award to this distinction.
Huang received this award for his outstanding contributions to Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) and accelerated computing.

Critics Choice Awards: Jimmy Kimmel Wins Best Talk Show
