Hutatma Smruti Smarak redevelopment inaugurated at Patradevi, Goa

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the redeveloped Hutatma Smruti Smarak at Patradevi, Goa, commemorating Goa's liberation movement. The memorial was rebuilt by the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 9.50 crore. The site honours Goa's satyagrahis and martyrs who fought Portuguese rule, and its inauguration was attended by the Goa Chief Minister and other officials. 81st death anniversary of Netaji Bose observed

India observed the 81st death anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on 18 August 2026.
