Indian Air Force Launches First Comic Book Series Celebrating Its Heroes

In an initiative to inspire and educate the youth about the rich history and heroic deeds of the Indian Air Force (IAF), Air Chief Marshal V. R. Chaudhari launched the first comic book in a series 'Heroes of the Indian Air Force'. This innovative approach to storytelling marks a significant step in the IAF's efforts to connect with younger generations and foster a sense of pride and duty towards the nation.
The comic book series was officially unveiled by Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, the Chief of the Air Staff, underscoring the importance of this initiative to the Indian Air Force.

Dharmendra Pradhan Releases Inaugural Edition of E-magazine 'Sapno ki on National Space Day

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan released the inaugural edition of an e-magazine, 'Sapno ki Udaan', on the occasion of India's first National Space Day. The e-magazine is a mix of poetry, essays, stories, anecdotes, and riddles contributed by students, teachers, and parents from around India.
The Department of School Education and Literacy, in collaboration with NCERT, released this e-magazine to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar South Pole.
During the virtual launch of the e-magazine, Pradhan said that this will fulfil the recommendations of the National Education Policy by making education accessible and equitable, and preparing students for the global challenges of the 21st century. He also said the current theme of the magazine, space, resonates with the vastness of the imagination of children.

The book launch brought together notable figures from various fields, highlighting the impact of grassroots initiatives on women's economic empowerment and community development.
Soumya Swaminathan Chairperson of MS Swaminathan Research Foundation and former WHO chief scientist officially released the book.

Supreme Court Judges Launch Book on Commercial Dispute Resolution

A book on 'Commercial Dispute Resolution- State of the Law in India' was released by Supreme Court judge Justice K. V. Viswanathan and retired Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul in New Delhi.
The book, published by LexisNexis, will also be launched in Chennai by Supreme Court judge Justice M. M. Sundresh and Acting Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, Justice D. Krishnakumar along with American lawyer Gary B. Born on August 31, 2024.
The chief editor of the book is advocate Anirudh Krishnan and the book includes contributions from his current and ex-colleagues at AK Law Chambers.
The book identifies the issues with the commercial dispute resolution system as of 2015, analyses the working of marquee commercial dispute resolution-related legislation post-2015, namely the Commercial Courts Act, 2015; the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016; amendments to the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 in 2015 and subsequent amendments; and the Mediation Act, 2023.

Amit Shah Releases Tarun Chugh's Book 'Modi's Governance Triumph: Reshaping India's Path to Prosp...

Union Home Minister Amit Shah released a book written by BJP leader Tarun Chugh which, the author said, captures the "transformative" changes brought by the Modi government in a host of sectors and regions, including in the poll-bound Jammu and Kashmir.
Chugh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has brought the common citizens at the centre of his every scheme and policy, heralding changes which empowered the most vulnerable and poor sections of the society, and strengthened the country as well.
The book 'Modi's Governance Triumph: Reshaping India's Path to Prosperity' was "inspired" by the Prime Minister's decades-long public life which was always "dedicated" to the country, Chugh said.
