Youth Adda Partners with Seekho App to Promote Online Education

Youth Adda has partnered with the online learning platform Seekho App to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship among youth on Tuesday.
Managing director of UPICON, Praveen Singh, finalised the partnership with Seekho App, marking a major step toward enabling young people to access digital learning resources tailored for skill-building and enterprise development.

CBSE Introduces New Two-exam Policy for Class 10, Revises Rules for Sports and Olympiad Participants

In 2025, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced a new two-exam policy for Class 10 starting in 2026.
It mandates that sports students of Class 10 will now be eligible to appear in the second set of Board Examinations scheduled for May if their sports events or travel clash with the first exam cycle in February. No additional exams will be conducted outside this schedule.
The CBSE revised the provisions for Class 10 students who are unable to take the board examination due to their participation in national or international sports events or international Olympiads. However, there is no change in the scheme for Class 12. For Class 12 students whose journeys or sports events clash with the examinations, re-examinations will be conducted after the first cycle is over.
Since March 2018, CBSE has been providing a special opportunity to the students by conducting special examination at a later date for the students who are participating in national or international sports events.
In 2020, this provision was extended for students who participated in international olympiads.

The Hyderabad-based CSIR – Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) scientists made a groundbreaking discovery about how cells adapt their internal structures to move and change shape.
They revealed the critical role of a protein called SPIN90 in helping cells, like white blood cells, form the rapid protrusions which are necessary to chase down and destroy pathogens.

Professor Pradeep Kumar Prajapati Becomes Director of AIIA

The All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, welcomed a new chapter in its leadership as Professor Pradeep Kumar Prajapati formally assumed charge as its Director in September 2025.
His appointment came at a time when the Indian government is focusing on strengthening traditional medicine systems under its AYUSH mission, and Ayurveda, in particular, was being positioned for global reach and recognition.
With decades of experience in teaching, research, and administration, Prof. Prajapati is expected to steer AIIA into a new phase of growth and international collaboration.
His leadership aligns with national goals to integrate evidence-based Ayurveda into the mainstream healthcare system.
Before this appointment, he was the Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurved University, Jodhpur.
His academic journey included a long tenure at Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, where he made notable contributions to research and academic development.

AIIMS Becomes First Govt Medical College in India to Train on da Vinci Robotic System

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi inaugurated the advanced da Vinci Surgical Robot at its Skills, E-Learning and Telemedicine (SET) Facility, marking a significant milestone in robotic surgery training in India.
This was the first installation of the da Vinci system for training at a government medical college in the country.
The new robotic platform, provided by Intuitive Surgical under a memorandum of understanding, makes AIIMS Delhi the only institution in India with two robotic systems dedicated solely to training.
The facility already houses a Hugo robotic trainer by Medtronic, offering comprehensive, hands-on robotic surgery training for students, residents, nurses, and faculty.

Rashtriya Poshan Maah Kicks Off in Puducherry, Emphasizes Balanced Diets

In September 2025, the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah inaugurated in Puducherry. Puducherry Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan said that good nutrition is the foundation for a healthy and developed India.
Underlining the theme of this year's Nutrition Month, people to reduce sugar, salt, and oil intake and adopt balanced diets and regular exercise to prevent lifestyle diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and hypertension.

In a step to blend tradition with technology, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs launched the Beta Version of Adi Sanskriti at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, during the National Conference on Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan.
The platform inaugurated by Durgadas Uikey, Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, marking a new era in the preservation, education, and promotion of India's tribal artforms.
Envisioned as the world's first Digital University for tribal culture, Adi Sanskriti aims not only to safeguard traditions but also to enable livelihoods by connecting artisans with global markets.
