Justice MM Shrivastava is Acting Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court

The Central Government notified the appointment of Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava as Acting Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.
Justice Shrivastava will perform the duties of Chief Justice as Justice Augustine George Masih was appointed as a Supreme Court judge.
Justice Shirvastava enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Madhya Pradesh in 1987.
He was designated Senior Advocate in 2005 and elevated as a judge of the Chhattisgarh High Court in December 2009. He was transferred to the Rajasthan High Court and took oath in October 2021.

Bombay High Court Launches Dedicated Telegram Channel for Updates About the Court and Cases

In a first of its kind move, the Bombay High Court launched a dedicated Telegram channel for real-time updates on information about the court and cases before it.
The notice issued by the High Court Registrar General stated that the channel features essential information updates available free to all subscribers.

Centre Clears Appointment of 3 HC Chief Justices as Supreme Court Judges

The Centre cleared the appointment of Justices Satish Chandra Sharma, Augustine George Masih and Sandeep Mehta as judges of the Supreme Court.
With this, the Supreme Court will have a full working strength of 34 judges.
Justice Sharma was acting as Chief Justice, Delhi High Court; Justice Augustine George Masih, Chief Justice, Rajasthan High Court; and Justice Sandeep Mehta, Chief Justice, Gauhati High Court.

The Supreme Court collegium headed by Chief Justice D. Y. Chandrachud recommended the names of three High Court Chief Justices as Supreme Court judges. The Supreme Court of India has a sanctioned strength of 34 judges and is presently functioning with 31 judges.
Delhi High Court Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, Rajasthan High Court Chief Justice Augustine George Masih and Gauhati High Court Chief Justice Sandeep Mehta were recommended for elevation to the Centre for Supreme Court judges.

BJP and JSP are likely to jointly contest nine seats in Twin Cities.

Kukatpally and Serilingampally in Twin Cities may go to JSP. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and actor Pawan Kalyan led Jana Sena Party (JSP) are likely to jointly contest nine seats in Twin Cities and other parts of the State in the November 30 Assembly elections.
Highly placed BJP sources said the party has decided to give two seats — Kukatpally and Serilingampally — in Hyderabad to Jana Sena Party notwithstanding strong resistance from within the party.
The BJP leaders, who were hopeful of performing well in these two seats are now up in arms against the proposal. Mr. Pawan Kalyan, who returned from abroad is likely to meet the BJP leaders on Saturday night.
