PM signs copy of Dr R Balasubramaniam's book

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi met Dr R Balasubramaniam today and signed a copy of his book 'Power Within: The Leadership Legacy of Narendra Modi'.
The book captures Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership journey and interprets it through Western and Indic lenses, amalgamating them to provide a roadmap for those who aspire to a life of public service.
Replying to a post on X by Dr R Balasubramaniam, the Prime Minister wrote: "It was a delight to meet Dr R Balasubramaniam earlier today. Also signed a copy of his book. My best wishes to him for his future endeavours."

PM Modi Releases Three Books on Ex-VP Naidu

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released three books on former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu on his 75th birthday.
The event took place at the Anvaya Convention Centre in Gachibowli, Hyderabad, and Modi released the books via videoconferencing.
Among the books the Prime Minister released are a biography of the former vice-president titled "Venkaiah Naidu – Life in Service", authored by S. Nagesh Kumar, former resident editor of The Hindu's Hyderabad edition, and "Celebrating Bharat – The Mission and Message of Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu as 13th Vice-President of India" — a photo chronicle compiled by his former secretary Subba Rao.
The third book is a pictorial biography in Telugu titled "Mahaneta – Life and Journey of Shri M Venkaiah Naidu", authored by Sanjay Kishore.

Maharashtra Governor Unveils Maritime History Book: 'Gateways to the Sea'

The Governor of Maharashtra, Ramesh Bais, released a book titled 'Gateways to the Sea: Historic Ports and Docks of Mumbai Region' at Raj Bhavan Mumbai, shedding light on the area's ancient and modern maritime history.
At the launch event the Governor honoured the Maritime Mumbai Museum Society (MMMS), 17 authors, and two editors who contributed to the book.
This book compiled by MMMS is a compilation of authoritative articles on the history of various ports and docks of the Mumbai Region like Sopara, Vasai, Versova, Mahim, Kalyan, Thane, Panvel, Alibag, Chaul, Mandad, and Janjira. Historians, researchers, maritime experts, conservation architects and writers have contributed all the 18 chapters. The publication of this book is an important milestone in creating awareness about the ancient ports stated above and it also covers the development of modern ports and docks of Mumbai including Mazagon Dock, Mumbai Port, Bombay Dock, Sassoon Dock and Ferry Wharf also known as Bhaucha Dhakka.

Seth Releases the English Translation of "Hanuman Chalisa"

Eminent author Vikram Seth released the English translation of the sacred Hindu hymn "Hanuman Chalisa" — his first new work in over a decade.
Featuring title calligraphy by Seth himself, the book's bilingual edition has the original verses in Devanagari and Roman scripts alongside the English translations.
The "Hanuman Chalisa", written by 16th-century poet and saint Tulsidas, is one of the most popular Hindu devotional hymns dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It comprises 40 verses.
