The museum is situated in Park Estate, which used to be the residence of the famous surveyor Sir George Everest, known for whom Mount Everest is named.

After wooing audiences across the country with its incredible story and performances since its release in theatres and on OTT, 2018: Everyone is a Hero will represent India at the Academy Awards that are scheduled for March 2024. Oscars 2024 are slated for March 10, 2024, in Los Angeles.
2018: Everyone is a Hero is based on a story of the devastating 2018 Kerala floods that left a trail of destruction and loss across the state. Directed by the visionary Jude Anthany Joseph, the film showcases the resilience of people from all walks of life who find themselves thrust into the eye of calamity and how unity becomes their driving force.

World's Second Largest Hindu Temple outside India to be Inaugurated in US
New Jersey in the US is set to host the world's second-largest Hindu temple outside India, to be formally inaugurated on October 8.
Hailed as the world's largest Hindu temple outside India "in the modern era", the Akshardham temple was built by the BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham organisation.
It is dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, a Hindu spiritual leader of the 19th century, and was inspired by his 5th spiritual successor Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush, Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated the maiden edition of 'Bharatiya Prakash Sthamb Utsav' or Indian Lighthouse Festival at the historic Fort Aguada in Panjim, Goa.
The festival is aimed at rejuvenating the rich maritime history of India's 75 iconic lighthouses and unravel the illustrious stories to the world. At the flagship venue of this maiden event, at the Fort Aguada, the meet was attended by Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant, the Union Minister of State for Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Tourism, Shripad Naik, Minister of Tourism, Govt of Goa, Rohan Khaunte, Micheal Lobo, MLA among other senior officials from both state and central governments.

Shivraj Chouhan Inaugurates Adi Shankaracharya Statue
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled the 108-feet tall 'Statue of Oneness' of Adi Shankaracharya on the bank of the Narmada River at Omkareshwar, approximately 260 km from the state capital Bhopal, six years after it was conceptualised.
The statue weighs 100 tons and has been installed on a 75 feet high platform. It is made up of bronze that contains 88% copper, 4% zinc and 8% tin. The statue internal structure is made-up of high-quality steel.
Adi Shankaracharya, as per Hindu religion scholars, is credited with restoring the glory of Sanatan Dharma in ancient India with his preaching and debate with scholars.
