Justice P. Sam Koshy is Acting Chief Justice of Telangana High Court

The Central government appointed Justice Puthichira Sam Koshy as Acting Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court.
The appointment was made in light of incumbent Acting Chief Justice Sujoy Paul's transfer to the Calcutta High Court and will continue until Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh takes charge as Chief Justice of the High Court.

Centre Appoints Justice T. A. Goud as Acting Chief Justice of Tripura High Court

The Central government notified the appointment of Justice Todupunuri Amarnath Goud as Acting Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court.
This follows the transfer of Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh to the Telangana High Court. Justice Goud will perform the duties of Chief Justice until Justice M. S. R. Ramachandra Rao, currently Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court, takes charge as Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court.

Lalit Bhasin Re-elected as SILF President

Lalit Bhasin was re-elected as President of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF). JSA founder Jyoti Sagar was elected as Associate President.
New Senior Vice-Presidents, Vice-Presidents, General Secretary, Treasurer and Joint General Secretaries were also elected.
SILF Elections are held every three years.

Centre Clears Transfer of Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak from Gauhati to Orissa High Court

The Central government has notified the transfer of Justice Manash Ranjan Pathak from the Gauhati High Court to the Orissa High Court.
He was enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh in September 1990. He primarily practiced in civil, constitutional, land acquisition and service matters.
He was elevated as an additional judge of the Gauhati High Court in May 2013 and became a permanent judge in November 2018.

Central Government Clears Transfer of Four High Court Chief Justices

The Union government cleared the transfers of Chief Justices of Rajasthan, Tripura, Jharkhand and Madras High Courts.
As per the notification issued:
Madras High Court Chief Justice K. R. Shriram was transferred to the Rajasthan High Court.
Rajasthan High Court Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava was transferred to the Madras High Court.
Jharkhand High Court Chief Justice M. S. Ramachandra Rao was transferred to the Tripura High Court; and
Tripura High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh was transferred to the Telangana High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium had made a recommendation for these transfers in May.
Meanwhile, the Centre also cleared the appointment of new Chief Justices to Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Gauhati, Patna and Jharkhand High Courts.
