Kane Williamson Retires from T20Is, Ends Career with 93 Matches

Kane Williamson, New Zealand's celebrated batter and former captain, announced his retirement from T20 Internationals (T20Is) with immediate effect. His decision came just days ahead of a five-match home series against the West Indies, and marks the end of a 14-year T20I journey that began in 2011.
Known for his composure and leadership, Williamson exited the format after 93 matches, becoming New Zealand's second-highest run-scorer in T20Is with 2575 runs at an average of 33, including 18 fifties and a personal best of 95.

Classic Himalayan Drive Begins

The Classic Himalayan Drive 2025 started from Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh with Deepa Malik, India's first Paralympic medallist, flagging off the first group of rally cars.
The event, a non-competitive rally, features 20 cars from the UK, France, Kenya and Bhutan alongside as many from India. It includes night halts in Ramnagar, Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Theog, Manali and Chandigarh, before concluding on November 10 at Dwarka in New Delhi.
The rally features cars from 1958 to 2022, and is a throwback to the Himalayan car Rally of the 1980s, retracing the route of the erstwhile event.

India Clinches ICC Women's World Cup 2025

In a historic finale at DY Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai, India Women clinched the ICC Women's ODI World Cup 2025 by defeating South Africa Women by 52 runs, marking a proud moment for Indian cricket fans.
The 2025 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup was the 13th edition of Women's Cricket World Cup.
India's batting line-up displayed collective brilliance to post a formidable 298/7.
Chasing 299, South Africa started confidently but faltered under pressure and was all out for 246 (45.3 overs).
Shafali Verma was named the Player of the Match and Deepti Sharma was named Player of the Series.

Rohan Bopanna, one of India's greatest tennis icons, officially announced his retirement from professional tennis, ending a remarkable journey that spanned over two decades. Known for his towering serves, world-class doubles play, and relentless spirit, Bopanna leaves behind a rich legacy that has inspired generations of Indian tennis enthusiasts.

Abhishek Nayar New Kolkata Knight Riders Head Coach Ahead of IPL 2026

Abhishek Nayar was announced as the new head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). The former India all-rounder replaced Chandrakant Pandit, who led the team for three seasons, including their title-winning campaign in 2024. This marks a new phase for the franchise, which continues its trend of appointing Indian coaches to lead the side.
Nayar has been closely associated with the Knight Riders setup since 2018, serving as a key member of the support staff.

Dabang Delhi Crowned PKL 12 Champions After Beating Puneri Paltan

Dabang Delhi crowned champions of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 12 after their thrilling 31-28 victory over Puneri Paltan in front of a packed home crowd.
This was their second PKL title, having previously been crowned champions in Season 8, when current head coach Joginder Narwal was their captain.
In doing so, Dabang Delhi became the first home team since U Mumba in Season 2 to lift the trophy. Meanwhile, Fazel Atrachali also became the most successful foreign player in the history of the PKL.
Neeraj Narwal and Ajinkya Pawar led the raiding unit with eight and six points respectively. For Puneri Paltan, Aditya Shinde registered a Super 10 and Abinesh Nadarajan scored four tackle points, that went down in vain.
As has been the case for most of the season, Aslam Inamdar and Ashu Malik opened the account of their respective teams in the grand finale.

India Women Script History, Shatter Massive Record with Emphatic Women's World Cup Chase against ...

India women performed exceptionally well in the second semi-final of the ongoing Women's World Cup 2025. Taking on Australia, the two sides locked horns at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai. The clash saw Australia batting first, and the side posted a total of 338 runs in the first innings.
Aiming to chase down the target, it was the masterclass of Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues that helped the Women in Blue register a win. Where Harmanpreet Kaur scored 89 runs in 88 deliveries, Jemimah played a knock of a lifetime, scoring 127* runs in 134 deliveries. helping her side win the game by five wickets.
Notably, the run chase ended up shattering several records, as it became the highest ever chase in Women's ODI history. Bettering Australia's 331-run chase against India in Visakhapatnam earlier in the tournament.
Furthermore, the win for India meant that Australia's unbeaten run in the World Cup came to an end as well.
