Raja Ram Mohan Roy Award for A.B.K. Prasad

Veteran journalist A. B. K. Prasad was chosen for the prestigious Raja Ram Mohan Roy National Award for Excellence in Journalism-2020, announced the Press Council of India, New Delhi.
Anne Bhavani Koteswara Prasad, popularly known as ABK, has the rare honour of being the editor of all the mainstream journals of Andhra Pradesh during his journalistic career spanning over 75 years. He also served as the Chairman of Official Language Commission from 2004 to 2009 in the erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh.

NTPC Bags 'ATD Best Awards 2023' for 6th Consecutive Year

NTPC was honoured with 'ATD Best Awards 2023' by the Association for Talent Development (ATD), USA. This is the sixth time that NTPC won this award for demonstrating enterprise success in the field of talent development. The foundation of NTPC's culture has always been to engage employees through creative techniques. The award is testimony to NTPC's contemporary HR practices.
The ATD Best Awards recognizes organizations that demonstrate enterprise through talent development. MRF Chairman K.M. Mammen Receives the ATMA Lifetime Achievement Award

MRF Ltd. Chairman and Managing Director K.M. Mammen was presented the ATMA Lifetime Achievement Award by Maruti Suzuki India MD & CEO Hisashi Takeuchi at the Automotive Tyre Manufacturers' Association (ATMA) Annual Conclave 2023 in New Delhi. It is noted that Mammen has been at the helm of every landmark achievement that has brought MRF to the milestone of over INR 19,000 crore turnover and in its ranking, of being amongst one of the top tyre companies in the world.

Queen Elizabeth Prize: Solar Team Wins Prestigious Engineering Award

Four pioneers behind the electricity-generating silicon solar cell won this year's (2023) Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering.
Martin Green, Andrew Blakers, Jianhua Zhao and Aihua Wang developed so-called Passivated Emitter and Rear Cell, or Perc, technology.
This transformed the efficiency of solar panels and is now built into 90% of all installations worldwide.
The quartet will share a £500,000 award and a trophy.

Manappuram Finance MD, V. P. Nandakumar Receives Hurun India Award 2022

V. P. Nandakumar, Managing Director &CEO, Manappuram Finance Ltd bagged the Hurun India's award for his remarkable achievements in the world of business.
Nandakumar received The Hurun Industry Achievement Award 2022 from top Hurun India officials.
Adi Godrej, chairman, Godrej Group, Cyrus S. Poonawalla, Managing Director, Serum Institute of India Ltd, Kris Gopalakrishnan, co-founder, Infosys Ltd and Sanjiv Goenka of RPG Group were the earlier recipients of this award.

Indian Music Composer, Ricky Kej Wins Third Grammy for 'Divine Tides'

Indian musician Ricky Kej won his third Grammy Award for the album 'Divine Tides' with rock-legend Stewart Copeland. The Bengaluru-based Indian music composer and producer won the award for 'Divine Tides' as he was nominated in the Best Immersive Audio Album category. The result was announced at the live ceremony held at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles, USA.
This song was Kej's collaborative project with Copeland and they bagged another Grammy for Best New Age Album in 2022. The composer also won for his 2015 album, 'Winds of Samsara.'
Featuring artists from around the world, 'Divine Tides' is a tribute to the magnificence of our natural world. This critically acclaimed album contains 9 songs and 8 music videos that were filmed around the world from the exquisite beauty of the Indian Himalayas to the icy forests of Spain.
