Former Chief Justice of Meghalaya High Court Tarun Agarwala Passes Away

Former Meghalaya High Court Chief Justice and ex- Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) presiding officer Tarun Agarwala passed away.
Justice Agarwala completed his Bachelor of Arts from Allahabad University in 1978 and later pursued a law degree from the University of Allahabad.
In February 2018, he was transferred to the Meghalaya High Court, where he took oath as its Chief Justice.
After his retirement, he was appointed as the presiding officer of the SAT in 2018 for a term of five years.

Rajneet Kohli Appointed as Executive Director of Foods at HUL

Rajneet Kohli, former CEO of Britannia Industries, has been appointed as Executive Director of the Foods and Refreshment Division at Hindustan Unilever (HUL). Effective April 7, 2025, he will replace Shiva Krishnamurthy, who is moving on to pursue an external opportunity. With 30 years of experience in consumer and retail, Kohli has played a key role in driving business growth and innovation.
His appointment comes as part of HUL's ongoing leadership transformation, reinforcing its focus on expanding the foods and beverages segment.

Roshni Nadar Becomes First Indian Woman in World's Top 10 Richest Women

Roshni Nadar, Chairperson of HCL Technologies, has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Indian woman to enter the world's top 10 richest women list. According to the Hurun Global Rich List 2025, she ranks 5th among the world's wealthiest women, with a net worth of Rs. 3.5 lakh crore (US$40 billion).
This achievement follows the transfer of a 47% stake in HCL Technologies from her father, Shiv Nadar, further cementing her position as one of India's most influential billionaires. She remains India's richest woman and is now the third-richest person in the country in 2025.

Manoj Bharathiraja Passes Away

Tamil actor and director Manoj Bharathiraja, son of legendary filmmaker Bharathiraja, passed away at the age of 48. His untimely demise has left the Tamil film industry and his admirers in deep sorrow. Several eminent personalities, including Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin, music composer Ilaiyaraja, and actor-politician Sarathkumar, mourned his loss and paid heartfelt tributes.
Made his acting debut in the 1999 Tamil film Taj Mahal, directed by his father.
