Indian Army launches Depot Integration Management Edition (DIME) to transform logistics
The Indian Army launched Depot Integration Management Edition (DIME), a pan-Army digital platform that provides real-time visibility of logistics from units to Army Headquarters. Developed jointly by the Indian Army and the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG-N), DIME standardises digital workflows across depots and units. It offers integrated dashboards, exception alerts, and predictive stock analytics to support proactive logistics. The platform is expected to cut paperwork by about 70 percent, shorten logistics cycles by a third, and deliver near real-time asset visibility across the entire logistics ecosystem, helping commanders make informed decisions.
