National Awards for Indian Cement Industry

The 18^th NCB International Conference & Exhibition on Cement, Concrete, and Building Materials, concluded successfully at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, IICC Dwarka, New Delhi. Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Arti Bhatnagar, presented National Awards to the best participating cement plants in the field of energy excellence, improvement in energy performance, environment excellence, total quality excellence and achieving circular economy in integrated cement plants and energy and environment excellence in cement grinding units. She also complimented the Indian cement industry for being water positive and plastic negative.

Marathi Web Series 'Lampan' Wins Best Web Series (OTT) Award at IFFI 2024

Directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari based on stories written by Prakash Narayan Sant, 'Lampan' is the tale of a dreamy child with unbounded curiosity.
The award, which celebrates innovation in digital content, was presented to the creators and the OTT platform behind Lampan for their dedication to delivering an engaging and thought-provoking narrative.
Recognizing the surge of creativity in digital content, the Best Web Series (OTT) Award, introduced in the 54th edition, marks a transformative milestone in honouring outstanding storytelling on OTT platforms.in recognition of the growing impact of OTT platforms on global entertainment.

Lithuanian Film 'Toxic' Wins Golden Peacock at IFFI 2024

The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) concluded with a spectacular display of cinematic brilliance as filmmakers, actors, and industry professionals gathered to celebrate the art of storytelling.
Lithuanian film 'Toxic' triumphed with the coveted Golden Peacock for Best Film.
Director, Saul�- Bliuvait�- shared the Golden Peacock Trophy, a certificate, and a cash prize of Rs. 40,00,000, with the producer, Giedre Burokaite.

Indian Chemical Council Honoured with 2024 OPCW-The Hague Award

The Indian Chemical Council (ICC) was awarded the prestigious 2024 OPCW-The Hague Award at the 29th Session of the Conference of the States Parties (CSP) of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) held in The Hague. This is the first time that the award has been conferred upon a chemical industry body, marking a milestone in India's commitment to chemical safety and compliance with the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).
The award was presented by Ambassador Fernando Arias (OPCW Director-General) and Mayor Jan van Zanen (Municipality of The Hague).
The OPCW-The Hague Award is presented to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the goals of the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC).

Ministry of Mines Wins Gold for Excellence in Display

The Ministry of Mines Pavilion was awarded the First Position (Gold) for excellence in display in India International Trade Fair (IITF), 2024 out of 49 Ministries, drawing over 80,000 visitors. The pavilion highlighted the Ministry's contributions toward achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
The pavilion offered a dynamic blend of innovation, heritage, and sustainability, captivating visitors of all ages.
