Months after it launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket, Japan's ispace Resilience lander is ready to attempt a daring Moon landing.
Japan's ispace's RESILIENCE lander is scheduled to attempt a touchdown on the Moon on June 5, 2025, near the center of Mare Frigoris, also known as the Sea of Cold.
Launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on January 15, 2025, RESILIENCE was successfully deployed and began its months-long voyage using a low-energy transfer orbit—a fuel-efficient trajectory that included a lunar flyby and a series of complex deep-space maneuvers.

China Launches Tianwen-2 to Collect Asteroid Samples
China launched its Tianwen-2 mission, dispatching a spacecraft to gather samples from an asteroid near to Mars. The China National Space Administration (CNSA) anticipates that this mission will yield groundbreaking discoveries and expand humanity's knowledge of the cosmos.

IndiaAI Mission Gets Boost as Compute Capacity Tops 34,000 GPUs
Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday announced a major expansion in the country's national AI infrastructure and talent development ecosystem.
Speaking at the 'IndiaAI – Make AI in India, Make AI Work for India' event in New Delhi, the Minister said India's national compute capacity has now crossed 34,000 GPUs, bolstered by the addition of 15,916 new units to the existing 18,417.
The announcement was accompanied by the selection of three more startups to develop indigenous foundation models under the IndiaAI Mission, following a rigorous multi-stage expert evaluation process.
