Venkaiah Naidu Releases Telugu Book Titled 'Gandhi Topi Governor'

Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu released the Telugu book titled 'Gandhi Topi Governor' by Padma Awardee D.r Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Chairman, Official Language Commission, Andhra Pradesh. The book chronicles the life of Barrister Idpuganti Raghavendra Rao. I R Rao was a prominent freedom fighter, Legislator and the Governor of the Central Provinces in the British Administration.

The book titled 'Rewinding of First 25 years of Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology' authored by S. S. Oberoi, the former adviser at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) was launched by Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Secretary of MeitY. The book consists of life experience, challenges working as an advisor under the MeitY. He was the first head of the Software Development Agency and the first adviser of Information Technology.

The author has previously written, "The Monk Who Became Chief Minister: The definitive biography of Yogi Adityanath" telling the BJP leader's journey of becoming a politician.
The book's foreword is written by IT industry veteran and Padma Shri recipient TV Mohandas Pai.

Vice President Launches Book on Raj Kapoor

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu released the book "Raj Kapoor: The Master At Work" and remembered the late showman for his invaluable contribution to making Indian cinema "a vehicle of cultural diplomacy" across the world.
Published by Bloomsbury India, the book is written by filmmaker Rahul Rawail, who served as an assistant director to Raj Kapoor.
The book launch, held at the India Habitat Centre's Stein Auditorium, coincided with Raj Kapoor's 97th birth anniversary.

Mriduala Ramesh, the founder of Sundaram Climate Institute, which works on water and waste solutions and the angel investor in cleantech start-ups, has authored a new book titled "Watershed: How We Destroyed India's Water And How We Can Save It". Mriduala Ramesh is the author of "The Climate Solution" and she writes regularly on climate issues. She is also a member of the board of trustees of World Wildlife Fund (WWF), India, and chairperson of the board of governors at the National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh (AP).
