PM Modi Participates in Navkar Mahamantra Divas

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took part in Navkar Mahamantra Divas on April 9, 2025, at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. This global spiritual event promotes peace, unity, and spiritual awakening. Organised by the Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO), the occasion witnessed participation from over 108 countries and over 1.08 crore devotees, engaging in the chanting of the Navkar Mahamantra for universal harmony and introspection.

International Mine Awareness Day

International Mine Awareness Day is observed annually on April 4 to raise awareness about the dangers of landmines and to promote efforts for mine clearance.
The United Nations General Assembly declared the day on December 8, 2005. The decision was made to raise public attention towards mine action activities, the threats posed by land mines, and how to work towards their elimination. The day was first observed on 4 April 2006.
The theme for International Mine Awareness Day 2025 is 'Safe Futures Start Here.'
