'The Power of the Dog', 'CODA', 'Dune' Win Big at BAFTA-2022
The acclaimed Western film "The Power of the Dog" scooped the top prizes for best film and best director for Jane Campion at the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) 2022.
Hosted by actor-comic Rebel Wilson, the award ceremony took place at the Royal Albert Hall.
"The Power of the Dog" star Benedict Cumberbatch accepted the award on the director's behalf. The psychological drama set in Campion's native New Zealand also won her the best film BAFTA, which producer Tanya Seghatachian collected.
Six Indian Airports Named the ACI World's ASQ Awards 2021
From India, six airports have found a place among the 'Best Airport by Size and Region', by the Airports Council International (ACI), in its Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey for the year 2021. The airports have been adjudged among the Asia Pacific region in different categories based on annual passenger traffic. The ACI Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards takes into account 33 parameters related to passenger amenities to recognize airport excellence in customer experience.
The six airports are Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai, Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, Cochin International Airport, Cochin, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad and Chandigarh Airport, Chandigarh.

Bangladeshi Rizwana Hasan to Get US International Women of Courage Award 2022
Bangladeshi environmental lawyer, Rizwana Hasan was selected for the International Women of Courage (IWOC) Award for 2022. She is among the 12 women from around the world who would be honoured by the US Department of State with the award for showing exceptional courage and leadership to make a difference in their communities. The awards ceremony on March 14 in a virtual ceremony to honour the 12 women selected for the award.

Haryana: Sushma Swaraj Award
Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar of Haryana while presenting the state budget announced a 'Sushma Swaraj Award' for women for their significant achievements or contribution in different walks of life in the international and national spheres.
The Sushma Swaraj Award would carry an award money of Rs. 5 lakh along with a commendation.
Sushma Swaraj was a lawyer of the Supreme Court as well as an Indian politician. She was a senior member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, served as India's Minister of External Affairs during the first Narendra Modi government (2014–2019). After Indira Gandhi, she was the second woman to occupy this position. She was elected seven times as a Member of Parliament and three times as a Member of Legislative Assembly. In 1977, at the age of 25, she became the youngest cabinet minister in the state of Haryana. She also served as Delhi's 5th Chief Minister for a brief period in 1998, and also became the city's first female Chief Minister.

Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Gets AS 9100D Certification
Jindal Stainless (Hisar) (JSHL) became the first integrated stainless steel manufacturing company in India producing coils, sheets and plates, and among the select few in the world, to get certified with AS 9100D Certification, a Quality Management System for Aviation, Space, and Defence Organizations.
The Certification validates JSHL's competence to constantly meet highly stringent standards of the aerospace industry. It also enables JSHL to get listed in OASIS, the Online Aerospace Supplier Information System database, which showcases the Company offerings to aerospace manufacturers. The AS 9100D certification journey was driven by the top management and implemented by a team of around 120 people across the supply chain, within 15 months.

MacGregor Medal for 4 from Armed Forces
Four from the armed forces were awarded the prestigious United Services Institution (USI) MacGregor Memorial Medal for extreme adventure activities that would help in military operations.
Two are from the Army and one each from Navy and Indian Air Force were awarded. Army Chief Gen MM Naravane gave away the awards at a ceremony at the USI, India's oldest tri-service think tank established in 1870.
The four who were awarded the prestigious United Services Institution (USI) MacGregor Memorial Medal are: Maj Ajay Kumar Singh from Para Special Forces, Naib Subedar Sanjeev Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Chief EA (P), of the Indian Navy and Anshu Kumar Tiwari of the IAF.
