Dredging Museum 'Nikarshan Sadan' inaugurated by the Union Minister Sarbananda Sonawal
Sarbananda Sonowal India's Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways and AYUSH inaugurated Nikarshan Sadan" – The Dredging Museum at DCI campus in Vishakhapatnam. This museum displays models of different types of dredgers, vintage photos & historical milestones from the Eastern Port City of Vizag.
Union Minister Sonowal also addressed the employees and stated that DCI is a very important organisation in the Maritime Sector. He also added that Dredging is very important for the existence of the port and in the competitive world.
DCI is celebrating 45 years of its dedicated dredging services to the Nation's ports, also coinciding with the "Azaadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav".
Minister Sonowal also inaugurated skill development facility -Centre of Excellence in Maritime and Shipbuilding (CEMS) at an event in Visakhapatnam. The Visakhapatnam facility of CEMS has 18 state-of-the-art labs, covering each and every aspect of manufacturing.

Taj Mahotsav
The Taj Mahotsav 2022 is a 10-day cultural festival held in Agra every year.
It is the most well-known art, craft, culture, and gourmet festival, held at the crossroads of winter and spring.
The Taj Mahotsav will take place from March 20 to March 29 this year. It has been rescheduled from its planned dates (February 18 February 27). 'Aazadi ke Amrit Mahotsav sang, Taj ke rang' is the theme of this year's 10-day celebration.

Ladakh to Get Snow Sculpture to Attract Tourists in Winters
Union Minister Jitendra Singh informed Ladakh Lieutenant Governor RK Mathur that a snow sculpture would be introduced in Ladakh in the winter season as a tourist attraction, which will also create job opportunities for the locals.
Ladakh will start the Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival in the coming years.
The concluding ceremony of the First Ladakh Ice and Snow-Sculpture Workshop 2022 was held on February 11. It was organized by Kangding Snow and Ice Sculpture Association in association with Ladakh Police at Sangtakchan near Tsogsti on the way to Chilling.

The Ministry of Culture is to organize a Global Summit on reimagining museums in India. The summit is first of its kind. The summit is to be inaugurated by the Union Minister of Culture Shri Kishan Reddy.
The summit is to focus on developing museums in India. The main intention is to cultivate new practices and strategies to develop the Indian museums.
The summit is organized as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. It is a programme to mark the 75th anniversary of Indian independence.
The summit will bring together the experts and practitioners in the field of museum management from all over the world.
The summit is organized by the ministry along with Bloomberg. The summit is to be held online on February 15 and February 16, 2022.

Indian documentary feature "Writing With Fire" made it to the final nominations list at the 94th edition of the Academy Awards.
Directed by Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh, both debuants, "Writing With Fire" chronicles the rise of Khabar Lahariya, India's only newspaper run by Dalit women.
Jane Campion's gothic western "The Power of the Dog" landed a leading 12 nominations, including nods for best picture, best director and all of its top actors: Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons and Kodi Smit-McPhee. Iconic Tapestry of Picasso's 'Guernica' is Back at the United Nations
The iconic tapestry of Pablo Picasso's "Guernica," which is considered by numerous art critics as perhaps the most powerful anti-war painting in history, returned to its place of honor at the United Nations after a year-long absence that angered and dismayed many U.N. diplomats and staff.
The tapestry was commissioned in 1955 by former U.S. vice president and New York governor Nelson Rockefeller and offered to the U.N. on loan in 1984.
