Andhra Pradesh government has launched its new 'AP Information Technology Policy 2021-24'.
New policy was approved by State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
This policy is expected to generate more than 55,000 jobs in next three years.
In order to implement the policy, a robust and holistic business environment would be created.
IT, Electronics and Communications Department would also be transformed into revenue centre in a bid to achieve self-sustenance.
New IT Policy links the incentive disbursement to realisation of committed direct employment which ensures transparent & effective utilisation of public funds. It offers end-to-end support for start-ups like plug & play office space, access to investors, & mentors, funds through venture capitals and private equity firms.

Telangana Govt. to Provide Financial Assistance to Beneficiaries under CM Dalit Empowerment Progr...
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, the Telangana government has announced that it will provide financial assistance of Rs. 10 lakh to the eligible Dalit beneficiaries under the Chief Minister Dalit Empowerment Programme.
With a budget of Rs. 1,200 crore for the first phase, the scheme will cover 100 families each from all the 119 Assembly constituencies in the state.
The amount will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of the selected Dalit beneficiaries as was done in the case of Rythu Bandhu Scheme.

West Bengal Approves Student Credit Card Scheme
West Bengal Cabinet approved the "Student Credit Card scheme". Trinamool Congress had promised to launch this scheme in its election manifesto.
This scheme will be implemented and launched on June 30, 2021. Under the scheme, student can get a soft loan of up to Rs. 10 lakh with the help of credit card to enroll into higher studies. Loans will be given for higher studies in India as well as abroad. Loans will be given at 4% interest rates. State government would act as guarantor.
Students will be provided fifteen years to repay the loan after they get a job.

Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani e-launches Agricultural Diversification Scheme-2021
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani e-launched Agricultural Diversification Scheme-2021 benefiting vanbandhu farmers in tribal areas.
The scheme will benefit more than 1.26 lakh farmers from 14 tribal districts of the state. Inaugurating the scheme, Mr. Rupani said that the state government is working to make agriculture sustainable and profitable in the tribal areas.
Under this scheme tribal farmers will get fertilizer-seed assistance of Rs. 31 crores in which 45 kg of urea, 50 kg of NPK and 50 kg of ammonium sulphate will be provided.
Seeds of crops like maize, Bitter Melon (karela), Calabash (dudhi), tomato, millet, etc. are provided under this scheme.
He also said that, in order to enable the tribal farmers to cultivate on their own and not to be deprived of water, the state government has undertaken massive works to deliver irrigation water at high altitudes through various lift irrigation schemes in the hilly areas of the tribal district.

Minority Affairs Minister launched "JaanHaiToJahaanHai" Awareness Campaign
The Minority Affairs Minister, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi launched a nationwide "JaanHaiToJahaanHai" awareness campaign on Corona vaccination for rural and remote areas. The aim of this campaign is to aware people of the Corona vaccination and to crush rumours and apprehensions related to Corona vaccination. It has been launched by the Ministry of Minority Affairs in association with various socio-educational organizations, NGOs, and Women Self Help Groups.
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi urged members of Central Waqf Council, Maulana Azad Education Foundation, and other social and educational institutions to take part in this awareness campaign. India is running the world's largest Corona vaccination drive.
