Yatish Yadav's New Book 'RAW: A History of India's Covert Operations'
The famous Journalist and Author, Yatish Yadav wrote a new book titled, "RAW (Research and Analysis Wing): A History of India's Covert Operations", narrates the heroic operations carried out by the Indian external spy agency, RAW has been published by Westland Publications and is available in Amazon and other bookstores in India.
The book narrates the operatives of the Spy agency, and its significant role on national security and long-term secret diplomacy.
The book also gives details of the real spies and reveals the unknown aspects of their life, trauma and temptation, triumphs they faced during their mission.
RAW was founded by the spymaster Rameshwar Nath Kao, which was established in 1968
The main purpose of RAW is to satisfy the need for increased intelligence that was identified during the Sino-Indian Border War in 1962 and during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965.

Union Ministers Launch the Book 'The Swachh Bharat Revolution'
The book "The Swachh Bharat Kranti", edited by Parameswaran Iyer, Secretary of Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation has been translated into Hindi and published by as the Swachh Bharat Kranti.
The book was officially launched by Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Union Minister of Textiles and Women & Child Development Smriti Irani.
This was followed by a discussion on the book and the Swachh Bharat Mission by the two Ministers and Parameswaran Iyer.
The Swachh Bharat Kranti captures the remarkable journey of the SBM through 35 essays by a diverse range of stakeholders and contributors to the SBM, sharing their perspective on this social revolution. The essays are arranged in four key sections which are the four key pillars of SBM's success: Political Leadership, Public Financing, Partnerships and People's Participation.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Releases Book Titled "Siyasat Mein Sadasyata"
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar released a book titled, "Siyasat Mein Sadasyata" authored by Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Choudhary. The book is a compilation of the author's views, three dozen articles on different important issues and his life journey. The book was published by Bihar Assembly Secretariat.
The book is compiled and edited by senior journalist Arvind Sharma and its preface has been written by another senior journalist Vinod Bandhu.
The book also reflects the different aspects of the author's personality.
It mentions various developmental works in different sectors and welfare measures taken by the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar.
It states about the special bonding between the author and CM.
It has described various other important activities of assembly like, successful completion of 6th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region among others.

Matthew McConaughey Announces Release of First Memoir 'Greenlights'
'Greenlights' is the debut book authored by Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey published by Crown Publishing Group is set to be released on 20th October 2020. The book is described as "not a traditional memoir but a playbook" based on the adventures and life experiences of McConaughey.
McConaughey describes 'Greenlights' as an album, a record and the story of his life and he shared his anecdotes, poems and life lessons in this book.
Booklet on 'Best Practices in Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme'
Narendra Singh Tomar, Union Minister of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, released a booklet on 'Best Practices in Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP)' prepared by Department of Land Resources (DoLR), Ministry of Rural Development based on the presentations made by states during regional and national workshops since inception of the programme.
This book is a collection of different best practices that focus on addressing various issues, challenges, and threats to the implementation of DILRMP.
The book discusses very scientifically the methods adopted by the states for better land record management.
It provides useful inputs to identify areas of innovation and helps other states to use similar innovative practices to gain a more comprehensive understanding of ground-level realities.
The Land Reforms (LR) Division was implementing 2 Centrally Sponsored Schemes namely, Computerisation of Land Records (CLR) & Strengthening of Revenue Administration and Updating of Land Records (SRA&ULR).
The Cabinet in August 2008 had given approval for merger of these schemes into a modified Scheme named DILRMP.
