International Translation Day 2025

International Translation Day is observed every year on 30th September globally. The day is an opportunity to pay tribute to the work of language professionals, which plays an important role in bringing nations together, facilitating dialogue, understanding and cooperation, contributing to development and strengthening world peace and security.
In 2017, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution on the role of language professionals in connecting nations and fostering peace, understanding and development, and declared 30^th September as International Translation Day. 30^th September is the day to celebrate the feast of St. Jerome, the Bible translator, who is considered the patron saint of translators.

Antyodaya Diwas 2025 was observed on September 25th, 2025, to mark the 109th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, a visionary political thinker, philosopher, and proponent of Integral Humanism.
The term Antyodaya means the rise of the last person, symbolising the goal of ensuring that the poorest and most marginalized sections of society are uplifted. Instituted in 2014, Antyodaya Diwas is a reminder that development is meaningful only when it reaches the weakest sections, promoting compassion, social responsibility, and fairness.

World Pharmacists Day 2025

World Pharmacists Day is observed every year on 25th September. In 2025, it will mark the 16th year of the campaign, which continues to celebrate the pharmacy profession worldwide and highlight its essential contributions to building stronger, more sustainable health systems.
