UP CM Launches 'Mission Niramaya' for Improvement in Paramedical Training
Terming nursing and paramedical staff as the backbone of the health and medical system, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that there is a need for drastic changes in nursing and paramedical training keeping in view the future requirements.
In view of this, instructions were given to start 'Mission Niramaya' for comprehensive improvement in training of nurses and paramedics.
Delhi L-G Inaugurates 41 Science Labs at 21 Schools Renovated by NDMC
Delhi Lieutenant Governor V. K. Saxena inaugurated 41 science laboratories equipped with advanced infrastructure and resources at 21 schools renovated by the NDMC.
The inauguration ceremony was organised at New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC)-run school Atal Adarsh Bengali Balika Vidyalaya.
Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar, NDMC Chairman Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, Vice Chairman Satish Upadhyay, Member of Council Kuljeet Singh Chahal and other senior officers were present on the occasion.

BHU Introduces New Research Programme for PhD Students
The Banaras Hindu University launched a six month External Research Experience for PhD students which would help foster good quality research. Research scholars with a very good academic profile at undergraduate and postgraduate level, having completed their course work and quality publications to their credit would be eligible to apply for the programme.
Under this programme, PhD scholars would be provided an opportunity to spend one semester (six months) in a reputed university or research laboratory in India to carry out research. They would also be able to utilise this opportunity for developing experimental, theoretical or professional skills.

India is soon going to get its first forest university. The Telangana legislative assembly approved the University of Forestry (UOF) Act 2022. The 'University of Forestry (UOF) will be the first of its kind in the country. Ahmedabad Civic Body-run Medical College Named after Prime Minister Modi
A medical college run by an education trust of the Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) was named after Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Medical Education Trust (MET) runs the college in Ahmedabad's Maninagar area. "Now, the 'AMC MET Medical College', which runs from the campus of AMC-run LG Hospital in Maninagar area of the city, would be known as 'Narendra Modi Medical College', announced Hitesh Barot, chairman of the municipal corporation's standing committee.

IIT Mandi Develops Method to Study the Insides of Important Living Cell Components
Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, in collaboration with the University of Cincinnati, USA, developed an efficient method to study the internal structure and functions of an important component of living cells. The researchers used metal nanoclusters in a method called Structured Illumination Microscopy to observe the nanodimensional features and functions of lysosomes and their interactions with another important cell organelle, mitochondria.
