Veteran Bharatiya Janata Party leader Chandupatla Janga Reddy passed away in Hyderabad. He was 86.
Reddy was an effective voice for the BJP at a very critical phase of the Party's trajectory.
C. Janga Reddy Garu devoted his life to public service. He was an integral part of the efforts to take the Jana Sangh and BJP to new heights of success. He made a place in the hearts and minds of several people. He also motivated many Karyakartas.
Reddy had defeated Congress stalwart P. V. Narasimha Rao, who went on to become India's Prime Minister in 1991.

Using the innovative Zero-Energy Micro-Irrigation System, Naik turned a barren plot of land into an oasis comprising Arecanut Palms, Coconut Trees, Cashew Trees, Banana Saplings, and Pepper Vines.

Former Tripura Assembly Speaker R. C. Debnath Passes Away
Veteran CPI(M) leader and former speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Ramendra Chandra Debnath died in Kolkata. He was 66.
Debnath was the sitting MLA of Yubarajnagar assembly constituency. He won the seat for the first time in 1993 and won it for six times.
He was the Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly for three terms.

Renowned social worker and Padma Shri awardee Baba Iqbal Singh Passes Away
Renowned social worker and Padma Shri awardee Baba Iqbal Singh, in-charge of Kalgidhar Trust, died at the age of 96 years.
He had started his journey of service towards humanity following the footsteps of his mentor Sant Attar Singh Maharaj. He was also conferred with Shiromani Pant Rattan award.
Baba Iqbal Singh worked relentlessly towards imparting value-based education in rural India.
As a social worker, Baba Iqbal Singh didn't restrict himself just to the education sector, he was involved in every facet of community life ie. schools, hospital, colleges, women care centre and de-addiction centres. With his team, he set up Akal Charitable Hospital at Baru Sahib, Sirmaur, which provides medical care to rural poor and other deprived sections of society. Every year, medical camps are organised in which doctors from Mumbai, Delhi, Haryana and Punjab provide free medical care including free surgeries to poor people.

Additional Solicitor General Rupinder Singh Suri Passes Away
Senior advocate and Additional Solicitor General (ASG) Rupinder Singh Suri died.
Suri was appointed the ASG in June 2020.
Suri was designated as senior advocate in 2009 and also served as the president of the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Supreme Court Advocates on Record Association.
He served as standing counsel in the Supreme Court for Punjab for about 15 years.
