Sumit Seth, an Indian Foreign Service officer of the 2005 batch, was appointed as India's next ambassador to Panama.
Earlier, he served as Deputy Chief of Mission in Yangon, Myanmar. He was also posted at India's Missions in Madrid, Bogota and Geneva.
