Fire-Boltt Appoints Virat Kohli as its Brand Ambassador

Fire-Boltt appointed of Virat Kohli as its new brand ambassador. Kohli will participate in different marketing, ad, and endorsement campaigns of the homegrown brand. "Virat Kohli is a role model for not just Indians but cricket lovers around the globe.
Fire-Boltt is a wearable, gaming, and audio brand offering a bouquet of premium quality audio, fitness, and fashion products. The products by Fire-Boltt include smartwatches, bluetooth earphones, bluetooth headphones, true wireless earbuds, bluetooth speakers, sound bars, lifestyle shoes, among others.
It is founded by Arnav Kishore and Aayushi Kishore.

Renowned Cartoonist C. J. Yesudasan Passes Away

Renowned cartoonist C. J. Yesudasan passed away at the age of 83.
Famous for his political cartoons, Yesudasan received the best cartoonist award from the Kerala government several times.
He also bagged honours like Swadeshabhimani Award, BM Gafoor Award, V Sambasivan Memorial Award, PK Manthri Memorial Award and NV Pylee Award.
Born in Bharaikkavu in Alappuzha district in 1938, Yesudasan had a long stint as a cartoonist with Malayala Manorama. He had also worked with Janayugom and Shankar's Weekly in the beginning of his career.
Yesudasan popularised the art of cartooning and was the author of the first pocket cartoon in Kerala.

Shailesh Dobhal Succeeds Shyamal Majumdar as Editor of Business Standard

Business Standard announced that Shailesh Dobhal has taken over as its new Editor.
Mr. Dobhal succeeded Shyamal Majumdar, who has retired.
Mr. Dobhal joined Business Standard in 2011 as Resident Editor in New Delhi, and has played a key role in building the newspaper and strengthening its digital operations as Digital Editor. Earlier, he was Senior Editor at The Economic Times and Associate Editor at Business Today.

CoinDCX Ropes in Amitabh Bachchan as its First Brand Ambassador

Cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX roped in actor Amitabh Bachchan as its first-ever brand ambassador. With this association, the crypto exchange wants to increase crypto awareness and popularise crypto as an emerging asset class. Bachchan will be the face of CoinDCX's new campaign. Being a crypto investor himself and having launched his own NFT (Non-fungible token), Mr. Bachchan is well-versed with crypto space.
CoinDCX is India's first crpto unicorn established in 2018.

Former Bureaucrat Shakti Sinha Passes Away

Shakti Sinha, former bureaucrat and an academician who was also the Private Secretary to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, passed away.
Mr. Sinha, a 1979-batch IAS officer, was also former Director of the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library (NMML).
Mr. Sinha worked closely with Vajpayee between 1996 and 1999, and had written a memoir titled 'Vajpayee: The Years That Changed India'.

Amrutanjan Healthcare Ropes in Mirabai, Punia as Brand Ambassadors

Amrutanjan Healthcare signed the Tokyo Olympic weightlifting silver medalist Mirabai Chanu and wrestling bronze medalist Bajrang Punia as brand ambassadors for products in its pain management range.
Chanu and Punia will endorse the company's portfolio of advanced body pain management products, which includes Back Pain Roll-On, Joint Muscle Spray, and Pain Patch.
As part of the partnership, the brand ambassadors will feature in a series of campaigns, including television and digital commercials for these products.

Kangana Ranaut is Brand Ambassador of U.P.'s 'One District-One Product' Scheme

The Uttar Pradesh government named actress Kangana Ranaut as the brand ambassador of its ambitious 'one district-one product' programme.
The actor met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at his official residence in Lucknow.
The U.P. government has launched the ODOP programme with the aim to create product-specific traditional industrial hubs across 75 districts of the State.

Ranveer Singh is India's NBA Brand Ambassador

The National Basketball Association (NBA) has named Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh as its brand ambassador for India. He will work with the NBA to help grow the league's profile in India throughout its landmark 75th anniversary season in 2021-22. For the 2021-22 season, Singh will participate in a number of league initiatives that will be featured on NBA India's and his personal social media accounts.
The NBA is a global sports and media business built around four professional sports leagues: the National Basketball Association, Women's National Basketball Association, the NBA G League and the NBA 2K League. The NBA games and programming is available in 215 countries and territories and merchandise for sale in more than 100,000 stores in 100 countries.
