Gaja Capital Business Book Prize: 'Against All Odds', 'Winning Middle India' Joint Winners
The Gaja Capital Business Book Prize 2023 was jointly won by 'Against All Odds: The IT Story of India' by Kris Gopalakrishnan, N. Dayasindhu and Krishnan Narayanan, and 'Winning Middle India: The Story of India's New-Age Entrepreneurs' by T. N. Hari and Bala Srinivasa.
The Rs. 15 lakh cash prize is awarded annually to authors of narrative non-fiction about Indian business and entrepreneurship.
The jury for the fifth edition of the Gaja Capital Business Book Prize comprised stalwarts from industry, investments, academia, public policy, and governance: Manish Sabharwal, Vice-Chairman at TeamLease (Chairman, Jury), Imran Jafar, Managing Partner & Co-founder at Gaja Capital, Arindam Bhattacharya, Emeritus Partner of BCG, Dr. Lakshmi Venu, MD of Sundaram-Clayton, Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint MD of Apollo Hospitals, Michael Queen, Former Chief Executive of 3i, Neelkanth Mishra, Chief Economist at Axis Capital, Prithvi Haldea, Founder Chairman of Praxis Consulting, Shailesh Haribhakti, Founder of Shailesh Haribhakti & Associates, and UK Sinha, Former Chairman of SEBI.
Genrobotics among Top Three Indian Start-ups at Global AI Summit
Genrobotics, a Kerala-based start-up acclaimed for leveraging technology for social change, was adjudged among top three Artificial Intelligence (AI) start-ups of India at the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI) Summit 2023 organised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology in New Delhi.
Genrobotic's G-gaiter Robotic Technology won the award in 'AI Game Changers' category at the summit held at Bharat Mandapam, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
S. Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT presented the award to Afsal Muttikkal, Regional Director, Genrobotics Medical and Mobility and Arun Dominic, Regional Business Development Manager.
Genrobotics was honoured for its outstanding innovation in healthcare by developing G Gaiter, an advanced AI-powered robotic gait trainer.
G Gaiter trains people who lose mobility due to stroke, spinal injury, accidents, Parkinson's disease and similar conditions to recover faster with minimal dependency on others.

Indira Gandhi Peace Prize Awarded to Daniel Barenboim and Ali Abu Awwad
