Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel launched 'Mukhyamantri Mitaan Yojana' (Mitaan stands for a friend), which will be implemented on a pilot basis in 14 municipal corporations including the cities like Raipur, Durg, Bilaspur and Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh. Under the Scheme, the residents of Chhattisgarh can avail around 100 public services at their doorstep.
Normally, citizens make multiple rounds to blocks, municipal corporations, tehsils, government offices and other departments. With this scheme, the government aims to bring a paradigm shift in the way citizens get required government services.
It will make the public service delivery system equally accessible to all citizens in a time-bound manner with enhanced accountability, transparency, responsiveness and inclusiveness.

Samba District Covers 100% Registration under ABPMJAY- SEHAT Scheme
In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, the Samba district of the Jammu division became the first district in India to cover 100% of households under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (ABPMJAY)- SEHAT scheme. The district achieved this milestone after the conclusion of a special registration drive organized by the State Health Agency (SHA) from April 11 to April 21 in all BDO offices across the district which was aimed to cover all families under the ABPMJAY SEHAT scheme in the district.
The Samba district has a total of 62,641 families with 3,04,510 people eligible for ABPM-JAY SEHAT golden cards. However, 100% family coverage for the Ayushman Bharat Golden card in the district is a major achievement for the UT Government. This ambitious health insurance scheme enables all the residents of J&K including employees and pensioners as well as their families to avail of cashless quality healthcare services across public and empanelled private hospitals across India.

PM Street Vendor's Scheme (SVANidhi) to Continue Till December 2024
The Centre approved the continuation of the Prime Minister Street Vendor's AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme till December 2024. The approval was given by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In PM SVANidhi, affordable collateral-free loans are given to street vendors. The approval increased the loan amount to Rs 8,100 crore, thereby providing the street vendors working capital to further expand their business and making them AtmaNirbhar.
The budget for the promotion of digital payments, including cashback to the vendors, has also been enhanced. The approval is expected to benefit nearly 1.2 crore people in urban India.

Union Agriculture Ministry Launches 'Kisan Bhagidari, Prathmikta Hamari' Campaign
Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare organized the 'Kisan Bhagidari, Prathmikta Hamari' campaign. The campaign which will continue till 30th of this month is being organised under 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' in association with various other Ministries and Departments. The Department of Agriculture Research and Education would be organising a Krishi Mela at each Krishi Vigyan Kendra and field exhibition on natural farming. A National Atma Nirbhar Bharat Conclave of 75 selected farmers and entrepreneurs will be under the campaign.
Milestones of agriculture development in 75 years of Indian Independence including Green Revolution: Self-sufficiency in food grain production will be highlighted during the campaign. More than one crore farmers and stakeholders are expected to participate in the Kisan Bhagidari, Prathmikta Hamari' campaign.

SVAMITVA Scheme Completes 1 Year
SVAMITVA, a Central Sector Scheme of Ministry of Panchayati Raj was nation-wide launched by the Prime Minister on National Panchayati Raj Day, 24th April 2021 after successful completion of pilot phase of scheme (2020-2021) in 9 states. Scheme is a reformative step towards establishment of clear ownership of property in rural inhabited (Abadi) areas, by mapping of land parcels using drone technology and providing 'Record of Rights' to village household owners with issuance of legal ownership cards (Property cards/Title deeds) to the property owners. The Scheme is implemented with the collaborative efforts of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, State Revenue Department, State Panchayati Raj Department and Survey of India. The scheme covers multifarious aspects viz. facilitating monetisation of properties and enabling bank loan; reducing property related disputes; comprehensive village level planning, would be the stepping-stone towards achieving Gram Swaraj in true sense and making rural India Atmanirbhar.
