38th Siachen Day

Indian Army marks Siachen Day on April 13 every year. The day is observed to commemorate the courage of the Indian Army under "Operation Meghdoot". The Day also honours Siachen Warriors serving their motherland successfully from the enemy. Every year this day is observed to pay solemn tributes to the soldiers who laid down their lives to capture the icy heights of Siachen 38 years ago. The day commemorates the courage and fortitude displayed by Indian Army troops in securing the highest and coldest battlefield in the world.
The Siachen Glacier is the highest battleground on earth, where India and Pakistan have fought intermittently since 1984. Both countries maintain a permanent military presence in the region at a height of over 6,000 metres (20,000 ft). More than 2,000 soldiers people have died in this inhospitable terrain, mostly due to weather extremes and the natural hazards of mountain warfare.

International Day of Human Space Flight

The International Day of Human Space Flight is celebrated annually on April 12 to mark the anniversary of the first human space flight by Yuri Gagarin on April 12, 1961. The day was proclaimed at the 65th session of the United Nations General Assembly on April 7, 2011, a few days before the 50th anniversary of the flight. In the Soviet Union, the day is observed as the International Day of Aviation and Cosmonautics.'
This day aims to help us recognize how much humanity has achieved thanks to the advancements in technology. This day shows us the significance of the cooperation, collaboration, and sharing of technology in space which has contributed immensely to making our world a better place.

National Safe Motherhood Day

National Safe Motherhood Day is observed annually on April 11, 2022 in India, emphasising the importance of antenatal care in pregnancy, as well as skilled care during childbirth and the first few weeks after birth. The ultimate goal of the day is to provide better medical care in order to reduce the maternal mortality rate or ratio, which can be defined as deaths caused by pregnancy or childbirth complications.
Since 2003, National Safe Motherhood Day has been observed, which was first proposed by the (WRA).
The theme of this year's National Safe Motherhood Day is "Remain at home amid corona virus, protect mother and infant safe from corona virus."

World Homoeopathy Day

Every year on April 10, World Homeopathy Day honors the memory of Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy. The day also challenges understanding and strategies that will further develop homeopathy.
According to the Homeopathy Research Institute (HRI), 200 million people around the world use homeopathy regularly. Half of these people are in India. There are 200,000 registered homeopathic doctors in India, with 12,000 doctors added each year.
Theme of World Homeopathy Day 2022 was 'Homoeopathy : People's Choice for Wellness'.

World Health Day

World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated on the 7th April every year. Every year, World Health Day focuses on contemporary health issues that require immediate attention, with varied themes. On World Health Day 2022, World Health Organisation will focus global attention on urgent actions needed to keep humans and the planet healthy and foster a movement to create societies focused on well-being. The World Health Organization has done its part to raise awareness about health and health-related concerns, as well as how to address them.
The theme for World Health Day 2022 was 'Our Planet, Our Health'. This year's theme aims to direct global attention toward the well-being of our planet and the humans living in it.
The World Health Organization (WHO) convened the first World Health Assembly in 1948, which called for the establishment of a "World Health Day." The first World Health Day was held on April 7, 1950, and it has been observed on that date every year thereafter. The main goal of the day is to raise awareness about a certain health topic in order to highlight a World Health Organization priority area of concern.
