Mauritius Day

Mauritius Day is an annual event that celebrates the island nation's culture, history, and traditions. The day is observed on March 12 every year and is an occasion for Mauritians worldwide to come together and celebrate their identity.
The history of Mauritius Day dates back to the island's colonial past. Mauritius was a French and then British colony for several centuries before gaining independence in 1968. The day marks the anniversary of the country's independence, a significant milestone in the nation's history.
Mauritius is officially known as the Republic of Mauritius and comprises four different islands — Mauritius, Rodrigues, Agalega, and St. Brandon. The main island is Mauritius, and Port Louis, the capital city, is located on the main island. The capital city is also the most populous city in this island country.

International Day of Women Judges

The International Day of Women Judges, which is celebrated every year on March 10, honours all female judges who have taken the lead in the fight against social injustice.
This International Day of Women Judges was observed with the campaign "Women in Justice, Women for Justice" to encourage the full and equal participation of women at all levels of the judicial system, to celebrate the accomplishments thus far, and to increase awareness of the challenges that still lie ahead.
The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) voted to observe an international day for female judges as a way to recognise the contributions made by female judges around the world to justice, equality, and fairness in society. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) hosted an international conference from February 24–27, 2020, in Doha, Qatar, which is to blame for this development.
The Institute for African Women in Law (IAWL) emphasised the necessity for judiciaries to promote and establish a culture of respect and the enforcement of women's rights throughout the conference. It was also noted how women in the legal field, particularly female judges, experience sexual harassment and bullying.
The UNGA enacted resolution 75/274 on April 28, 2021, designating March 10 as International Day of Women Judges. On March 10, 2022, the International Day of Women Judges was celebrated for the first time.

CISF Raising Day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, sent his best wishes to the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) on its 54th 'Raising Day'.
March 10 is annually observed as the Raising Day, when the CISF, one of six paramilitary forces in the country, was set up in 1969, under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs. CISF is tasked with providing security to vital government and industrial buildings. The force was brought under the armed forces via a different act in the year 1989. It was established under the CISF Act with an earlier strength of 3,129.
The CISF is renowned for its remarkable skills in managing difficult situations, such as hostage crises, terrorist assaults, hijackings, and bomb threats. Modern security tools, specialised vehicles, and cutting-edge weapons are all available to the force. Also, the CISF includes a canine team that is specifically trained to find explosives and other illegal materials.

Every year, International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 with much fervour across the world to shed light on critical women's issues and emphasise their rights.
Every year, the day is marked with a special theme, capturing the role of women in every sphere of life. In 2023, International Women's Day was observed with the theme – 'Embrace Equity'.

Jan Aushadhi Diwas

India celebrates the Jan Aushadhi Diwas on March 7 every year since 2019. The day is the culmination of a week-long event that begins on March 1. The day is marked in order to promote awareness about generic medicines and how they can be helpful for millions across the country.
The Jan Aushadi Diwas was launched on March 7, 2019, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the Pradhan Mantri Bharatiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana (PMBJP). The campaign and day were launched with an aim of expanding access to generic medicines and also promoting their use among the many millions of families who often could not afford expensive branded drugs.
The theme for Jan Aushadhi Diwas 2023 was based on the theme "Jan Aushadhi – Sasti bhi Acchi bhi".

International Day for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Awareness 2023

The first-ever International Day for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Awareness was observed on March 5. The International Day for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Awareness plays a role in deepening the global public's understanding about how disarmament efforts contribute to enhancing peace and security, preventing and ending armed conflicts, and curbing human suffering caused by weapons. The International Day for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Awareness seeks to promote better awareness and understanding of disarmament issues among the public, especially young people.
Nuclear, chemical, biological, and unpredictable autonomous and other indiscriminate weapon systems have no place in our world.
