Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit Inaugurated in Chhattisgarh

The Chhattisgarh government inaugurated the first phase of the Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit Project. The inauguration at the event at Chandkhuri, the city of Mata Kaushalya, was done by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
Baghel kick-started a three-day event on the occasion and recalled the deep connection between Lord Ram and Chhattisgarh during his address.

Copenhagen's Noma is the Best Restaurant in the World, for the 5th Time

The best restaurant in the world is Noma once again. It has won the award four times in the past.
The world's most famous restaurant was number two on the 2019 list, and achieved the 2021 ranking although it spent almost as much time in 2020 operating as an outdoor burger joint as it did a fine dining restaurant. Noma re-opened on June 1, with a menu of summery, nature-evoking dishes like stuffed zucchini with bee larvae. In September, Noma was also awarded 3 Michelin stars for the first time.
The Number 2 on the list was Geranium in Copenhagen, which serves creative Scandinavian food from a football stadium; grilling specialists Asador Extebarri in Spain was number 3.

Ministry of Tourism Organises Conference on Buddhist Crcuit

The Ministry of Tourism is organising a "Buddhist Circuit Train FAM Tour and Conference in a bid to tap the potential of the Buddhist tourism.
The FAM tour will comprise of the visit of prominent Buddhist sites as well as conferences at Bodh Gaya and Varanasi.
This conference is likely to be attended by 125 delegates including tour operators, media, hoteliers, and officials of Ministry of Tourism & State Governments.
Around 100 local tour operators and other stakeholders of tourism & hospitality sector will attend the event at Bodh Gaya and Varanasi for discussing the key issues with respect to the development and promotion of tourism in the circuit.

ITC Hotel to Launch New Luxury Hotel Brand Mementos

ITC Hotel is set to launch a destination-led luxury brand called Mementos adding to its bouquet of five brands including the recently announced Storii. Mementos would be aimed at addressing the need for boutique luxury hotels across various destinations.
The launch of the two new brands-- Storii as a premium and Mementos, as a luxury one, is in line with the larger strategy of the hotel chain to offer a differentiated experience to the travellers.

Delhi CM Kejriwal Launches One-stop App for Tourists

The Delhi government launched a mobile phone app, "Dekho Meri Dilli", that will act as a one-stop centre for tourism related information and tickets to all major tourist spots in Delhi, including popular market places and eateries.
The app, built by the Delhi government's tourism department, was launched by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on the occasion of World Tourism Day.
The "Dekho Meri Dilli" app offers six unique ways to discover Delhi and helps one plan a city tour ranging from half a day to six days. It also provides access to Google Maps to the required destination, and lists public and paid toilet facilities nearest to the user.
