The inclusion of Kerala's RT Mission in the UNWTO's global list of Case Studies is a noteworthy achievement, positioning it alongside Maharashtra's Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve project as the only Indian representatives on this esteemed list. These two case studies from India stand among seven G20 countries recognized by UNWTO, which include Mexico, Germany, Mauritius, Turkey, Italy, Brazil, and Canada.

Shillong Hosts 11th Edition of International Tourism Mart
The 11th edition of the International Tourism Mart (ITM), which highlighted the tourism potential of India's northeast region, held in Meghalaya's capital Shillong was inaugurated by Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy.
The ITM is an annual event held by the Ministry of Tourism in one of the North-eastern states on a rotation basis, with an objective to provide a bigger platform to the stakeholders in the Northeast to interact with their counterparts from both within the country and overseas markets as well as to create awareness about the tourism potential of Northeast region.

ATOAI Announces Its 15th Annual Convention at Statue of Unity
The Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) announced its 15th Annual Convention in collaboration with the Government of Gujarat. This event is set to take place at the Statue of Unity in Gujarat from December 16 to 19, 2023, bringing together stakeholders from across the country to discuss and celebrate the exponential growth and potential of responsible adventure tourism in India.
The vision of ATOAI is to position India as the epicentre of global adventure tourism and be ranked among the top ten global destinations for Adventure Travel by 2033.
The theme for the Convention this year (2023) is 'Indian Adventure Travel: Exploring New Frontiers'.
