Germany Signs U.S.-led Space Norms Pact Artemis Accords

Germany became the 29th country to sign the Artemis Accords, a U.S.-led multilateral agreement meant to establish norms of behaviour in space and on the lunar surface.
The signing marked a key addition to a growing slate of countries aligning their space policies and standards of cooperation with the United States, as nations including China and India eye the moon as stage for technological advances and national prestige.

Tentative Evidence of Life Found On Faraway Planet, Says NASA

In a groundbreaking revelation, scientists disclosed the presence of a rare water ocean on a massive exoplanet located numerous light years from Earth.
According to a new investigation with NASA's James Webb Space Telescope into K2-18 b, an exoplanet 8.6 times as massive as Earth, the presence of carbon-bearing molecules, including methane and carbon dioxide, was revealed.
Webb's discovery adds to recent studies suggesting that K2-18 b could be a Hycean exoplanet, one that has the potential to possess a hydrogen-rich atmosphere and an ocean-covered surface.
K2-18 b is situated within the habitable zone of a cool dwarf star known as K2-18, located approximately 120 light years away from Earth within the Leo constellation.

Two 'Non-human Alien Corpses' Unveiled in Mexico's Congress

A prominent UFO expert, Jaime Maussan, made a startling presentation at the Mexican Congress, unveiling two alleged "non-human" bodies that are said to be 1,000 years old.
During this significant event, Maussan, known for his decades-long investigations into alien phenomena, joined forces with scientists to reveal the mysterious corpses. These bodies were reportedly recovered from a mine in Cusco, Peru, and the claims made by the researchers stirred considerable interest.
The extraordinary assertion is that these corpses possess a genetic composition that is 30 percent distinct from that of human beings. Carbon dating conducted by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) confirmed that the bodies, which displayed distinctive three-fingered hands and feet, were indeed over 1,000 years old.

NASA Astronaut Frank Rubio Breaks US Record for Longest Spaceflight

Rubio surpassed the US space endurance record of 355 days at the International Space Station. He arrived at the outpost in September 2022 with two Russians for a routine six months. But their stay was doubled after their Soyuz capsule developed a coolant leak while parked at the space station.
The trio will return to Earth on September 27 in a replacement capsule that was sent up empty for the ride home.
By then, Rubio will have spent 371 days in space, more than two weeks longer than Mark Vande Hei, the previous US record holder for a single spaceflight, Russia holds the world record of 437 days, set in the mid-1990s.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju shared pictures of 'Matsya 6000', a submersible which is in preparation for exploring the deep oceans as part of India's 'Samudrayaan Mission' being developed by the National Institute of Ocean Technology (NIOT) in Chennai, under the Ministry of Earth Sciences. After achieving a successful 'soft-landing' on the Moon's south pole, India is now aiming to send three humans to a depth of 6 km into the ocean for deep-sea exploration and biodiversity assessments.
