Ayushman Bharat Diwas

Ayushman Bharat Diwas is celebrated annually on April 30 in India to raise awareness of the objectives of the government's Ayushman Bharat Yojana. The Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) is also known as the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. It is a healthcare scheme launched by the Indian government to provide affordable and accessible healthcare to people who are economically disadvantaged.
Ayushman Bharat Diwas was first observed in 2019, a year after the Ayushman Bharat Scheme was launched.

International Dance Day

International Dance Day, also known as World Dance Day, is a worldwide tribute to the rich heritage and artistic power of dance. Celebrated on April 29, it highlights the vast range of styles and traditions that make dance a compelling form of storytelling and cultural expression.
The Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) established April 29 as International Dance Day in 1982 to highlight the amazing diversity and talent of dancers all over the globe. This date was chosen because it marks the birthday of Jean-Georges Noverre (1727-1810), the creator of modern ballet.

World Intellectual Property Day

Every year, the world celebrates World Intellectual Property Day on April 26 which aims to spread awareness about intellectual property (IP) rights and how it encourages innovation and creativity to drive human progress.
World Intellectual Property Day was established by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in 2000. The date of April 26 was chosen because it's the day the WIPO Convention came into force in 1970.
The theme for World Intellectual Property Day 2025 is 'IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP'.

World Veterinary Day

The World Veterinary Day (WVD) is an annual global observed that honours the invaluable contributions of veterinarians to society. Observed on the last Saturday of April, this day aims to raise awareness about the crucial role veterinarians play in maintaining the health and welfare of animals and humans alike. The 2025 World Veterinary Day was celebrated on April 26.
The World Veterinary Association (WVA) established World Veterinary Day in 2000, and it was first celebrated on April 29 of that year.

World Penguin Day
