International Tea Day is an opportunity to celebrate the cultural heritage, health benefits and economic importance of tea, while working to make its production sustainable "from field to cup" ensuring its benefits for people, cultures and the environment continue for generations.

World Metrology Day

World Metrology Day is celebrated annually on May 20 globally to understand the meaning of the science of measurement and the reasons behind our heavy reliance on it.
The day commemorates the anniversary of the signing of the Metre Convention in 1875, which established the foundations for international collaboration in the science of measurement and maintaining uniformity in measurements worldwide.
World Metrology Day was established in 1999 by the International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM) to commemorate the signing of the Metre Convention on 20 May 1875 in Paris. This international agreement laid the foundation for a globally unified and consistently evolving metric system.
