Indian Army Hosts Inno-Yoddha 2025 to Promote Soldier-Led Innovation

  • The Indian Army conducted its annual Idea and Innovation Competition and Seminar, Inno-Yoddha 2025 in New Delhi. The event was attended by Lieutenant General Pushpendra Pal Singh, Vice Chief of the Army Staff, who felicitated the selected innovators. The Ministry of Defence informed that this year's edition recorded 89 submissions, the highest so far, reflecting the growing culture of innovation within the forces. After an evaluation, 32 innovations were chosen for further development. These soldier-driven solutions aim to strengthen operational readiness, logistics efficiency and training standards across the Army. It added that over the past five years, the Army's innovation ecosystem has delivered notable results.

Zen Technologies Wins Contract of Rs 120 cr From Ministry of Defence

  • Zen Technologies has been awarded a major contract from the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, totaling Rs. 120 crore to set up India's first Combat Training Node (CTN), at the Infantry School, the alma mater of the Infantry located at Mhow, Madhya Pradesh.
