TN Chief Minister Stalin Launches 'Illam Thedi Kalvi' Scheme
The Tamil Nadu government decided to reject the National Education Policy, 2020 (NEP 2020). Chief Minister M. K. Stalin announced this during the launch of 'Illam Thedi Kalvi', the education scheme on our doorstep. He also said that Tamil Nadu would start working on State Education Policy to implement an improvised education system.
As per M.K. Stalin's statement, 'NEP will not be followed by the state. An expert committee would be formed by the state government to prepare a new state Education Policy.'
The 'Ilam Thedi Kalvi' programme was launched from the Villupuram district on October 27, 2021. This scheme was established by the government accepting the recommendation of an expert committee.
The aim of the 'Illam Thedi Kalvi' is to reach out to each and every student of the state who was affected due to the closure of schools due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The scheme aims at further developing and strengthening the education system further.

Delhi Cabinet to Approve Addition of Ayodhya in Free Pilgrimage Scheme
The Delhi Cabinet met to approve the addition of Ayodhya in its free pilgrimage scheme for senior citizens of the city.
According to a Delhi government statement, a special meeting of its cabinet was held to include Ayodhya in the list of pilgrimage sites under the Mukhya Mantri Teerth Yatra Yojna.
The people of Delhi will be able to visit the land of Lord Shri Ram and worship at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi at no expense. The Delhi government makes arrangements for AC trains, AC hotels and the best possible facilities.
Kejriwal said, "In Delhi, we offer free pilgrimage to the people. The pilgrims get to visit Vaishno Devi, Shirdi, Rameswaram, Dwarka, Puri, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mathura, Vrindavan, among many other shrines."

MoRD: 152 SAKSHAM Centres Launched under DAY-NRLM
Ministry of Rural Development launched 152 SAKSHAM centres under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM). These centres were launched as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
About 152 Centre for Financial Literacy & Service Delivery (or SAKSHAM Centres) were launched across 77 districts in 13 states, during October 4 to 8, 2021.
These centres would act as one stop solution or single window system for the basic financial needs of Self-Help Group (SHG) households across the rural areas.
These centres were launched with the objective of providing financial literacy and facilitating the delivery of financial services like credit, savings, pensions, insurance, etc. These facilities will be provided to SHG members and rural poor.
These centres will be managed by SHG network, at the level of "Cluster Level Federations (CLFs)". Trained Community Resource Persons (CRPs) will also help in maintaining the centres.

Mukhyamantri Ration Aapke Dwar Yojana
State cabinet of Madhya Pradesh in its meeting decided to implement Mukhya Mantri Ration Aapke Dwar scheme.
Mukhya Mantri Ration Aapke Dwar Scheme will be implemented to benefit the poor tribal families.
It will be implemented in tribal development blocks of state excluding those blocks which fall under districts which are undergoing bypolls.
The scheme is going to benefit tribal families of around 7511 villages in 74 development blocks of 16 districts.
Ration will be distributed from headquarters village as well as by transporting it through vehicle across other villages attached to the shop.
