Raghav Chadha Conferred with 'India UK Outstanding Achievers Honour'

Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha received the "Outstanding Achiever" honour at the prestigious India UK Achievers Honours in London.
Raghav was selected as the "Outstanding Achiever" for the "Government and Politics" category, which recognises individuals who are demonstrating excellence in how democracy and justice are experienced and how challenging societal problems are tackled together for the good of people and the planet.
The India UK Achievers Honours celebrate the educational and professional achievements of young Indians who have studied in the UK, marking India's 75th independence anniversary. Chadha studied at the prestigious London School of Economics (LSE), after which he set up a boutique wealth management firm in London. The award ceremony was organised by the NISAU UK in partnership with the British Council in India, supported by the UK Government Department for International Trade and the UK Higher Education sector. This is the second international recognition for Chadha within a year. Last year (2022), he was honoured as a Young Global Leader by the most coveted World Economic Forum.

ESAF Bank Bags Inclusive Finance India Award 2022

ESAF Small Finance Bank bagged the prestigious Inclusive Finance India Awards 2022 for its contributions in advancing the goal of financial inclusion and supporting inclusive growth. This award is a recognition of ESAF's unique spectrum of Financial Inclusion projects ESAF Dhansree, ESAF Udyog Jyothi, LSEDP (Local Sustainable Economic Development Project), ESAF Balajyothi, ESAF Vayojyothi, and ESAF Garshom.
The Inclusive Finance India Awards initiative aims to celebrate and encourage deserving institutions to continue to enhance outreach to the poor by way of motivating management and staff through recognition of their painstaking efforts and enhancing the credibility of the institution, thereby making it more attractive for funding.

Padma Vibhushan Dr. Prabha Atre Conferred with Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia Lifetime Achievement A...

Hindustani vocalist Padma Vibhushan Dr. Prabha Atre was conferred with the Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia Lifetime Achievement Award. The award was presented to her by Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at Thane near Mumbai. The Chief Minister felicitated Dr. Atre at a function at Ram Ganesh Gadkari Rangayatan.

President Droupadi Murmu Conferd Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar

President of India Droupadi Murmu presented the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2023.
This year (2023), eleven exceptional children were selected for the prestigious award. Of them, 6 were boys and 5 were girls from eleven states and union territories.
The award ceremony took place in Vigyan Bhawan.
Children in the age group 5 – 18 years were awarded Bal Puraska, for their excellence in six categories – Art & Culture, Bravery, Innovation, Scholastic, Social Service and Sports. Each awardee of PMRBP was given a medal, a cash prize of Rs.1 Lakh and a certificate.

Nepalese Dr. Sanduk Ruit Wins Bahrain's ISA Award for Service to Humanity

Himalayan Cataract Project Co-Founder Dr. Sanduk Ruit won the ISA Award for Service to Humanity, a top civilian award of Bahrain. The award carries a cash prize of USD 1 million, a certificate of merit and a gold medal. He is pioneer in delivering high-quality microsurgical procedures in remote eye camps. He made modern eye care affordable and accessible to countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Dr. Ruit has trained more than 650 doctors, teaching them to cure preventable blindness. He has been instrumental in making modern eye care affordable and accessible to countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America. He is fondly called "God of Sight" for saving the sight of 1,20,000 eyes.

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Wins Best Small Bank Award 2022

Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB) bagged 'Best Small Bank Award' in the 'Best Banks Survey for the year 2022' done by Business Today-KPMG (BT-KPMG Best banks survey).
The bank won this award under the category of banks with the book size of less than Rs. 1 lakh crore. The BT-KPMG is conducting this survey and awarding the best banks for the past 27 years with 37 parameters for declaring a bank as an awardee. TMB, having registered its stellar performance in 2022, came up as topper in the respective category.
In a function held in Mumbai, TMB's Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer S. Krishnan received the award from Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari in the presence of Union Minister of State for Finance Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad and RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das.

Naanera Bags Golden Kailasha Award at Ajanta-Ellora Film Festival

'Naanera', a Rajasthani film directed by Deepankar Prakash, bagged the Golden Kailasha Award for the best movie at the Ajanta-Ellora film festival. Naanera (Grandfather's House) revolves around Manish. After the death of his father, Manish's uncle starts taking his life's decisions. The character's journey leads him to a questionable point when he begins a secret love affair with a cousin and the family finds itself in the middle of another death.
Naanera also bagged awards for best director, best screenplay, best editor.
