A second-half hat-trick by Ratanbala Devi helped the Indian women's team beat Indonesia 3-0 in the first of their two friendly matches.
India are preparing for the Olympic Qualifiers and will face Indonesia again on January 30.
Saina Claims First BWF Title
Saina Nehwal claimed her first BWF title in two years after Olympic and world champion Carolina Marin limped off the Indonesia Masters final after an injury she suffered on the court.
The London Olympics bronze medallist, who last won a BWF title in 2017 in Malaysia, was trailing 4-10 in the opening game when Marin decided to withdraw from the contest as she struggled to continue after the injury.
Marin was favourite to win the title. She beat Saina at the Malaysia Masters semifinal in Kuala Lumpur.

India Wins over New Zealand in 2nd ODI
A 154-run opening partnership between Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma set India on course to a 90-run win over New Zealand in the second ODI and a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
Rohit made 87 and Dhawan 66 as India posted 324-4 after winning the toss and opting to bat. New Zealand mustered only 234 from 40.2 overs in reply for their second heavy defeat after losing the first match of the series by eight wickets.
While India have solidified their position as one of the favourites to win the 50-over World Cup in England in the middle of the year, New Zealand's high expectations of their own chances have been re-calibrated after two crushing defeats.
Krejcikova, Ram Win Mixed Doubles Title
Third seeds Barbora Krejcikova and Rajeev Ram defeated local favourites Astra Sharma and John-Patrick Smith 7-6(3) 6-1 to win the mixed doubles title at the Australian Open.
After edging a tight opening set, the experienced Ram and Krejcikova broke early in the second set and held firm to clinch the contest and deny their unseeded rivals.
It was the first taste of Grand Slam success for American Ram while Krejcikova, who won two women's doubles majors with fellow Czech Katerina Siniakova last year, claimed her first mixed doubles Slam trophy.
Stosur-Zhang Clinch Doubles Title
Unseeded pair Samantha Stosur and Zhang Shuai took out the Australian Open women's doubles title to be crowned Grand Slam champions at Melbourne Park for the first time.
The Australian-Chinese combination battled past HungarianFrench second seeds Timea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic -- last year's champions -- 6-3, 6-4 on Rod Laver Arena.
It was Zhang and Stosur's maiden Slam crown as a team, although Stosur had previously won the 2005 US Open and 2006 French Open in a partnership with Lisa Raymond that earned them 20 titles altogether.
En route to the title, Stosur and Zhang knocked out reigning French Open and Wimbledon champions Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova.

New Zealand Crushed by Eight Wickets in the First ODI
A match billed as a run fest was turned upside down by India spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, as New Zealand were crushed by eight wickets in the first ODI.
The bowlers rolled New Zealand for 157.
Kuldeep and Chahal delivered a spin bowling master-class, mesmerising New Zealand with six wickets between them, while Mohammed Shami claimed three as New Zealand folded for a mere 157 with 12 overs to spare.
It was a costly error for New Zealand as the left-hander, who passed 5,000 ODI runs in the course of the innings, went on to make his 26th half century.
Kohli, a day after becoming the first player to clinch all three top ICC honours including cricketer of the year, was caught behind for 45. Ambati Rayudu finished not out 13.

World's Best Test and One Day International (ODI) Player
The International Cricket Council (ICC) named Virat Kohli the world's best Test and One Day International (ODI) player, and captain of the ICC Test and ODI teams of the year.
It also named him Cricketer of the Year, a trophy appropriately named after Garfield Sobers. No one has ever made this clean a sweep of the ICC awards.
Under Kohli, India ended 2018 as the world's No 1 Test side and the second-best team in ODIs and T20s.
With New Zealand, India has three players in the best Test 11 (Kohli, Pant and Jasprit Bumrah). And along with England, it has four in the ICC one-day team ( Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav and Bumrah).
Before his back needed reconstruction, Tiger Woods was the best golfer of his generation.
