This World Book of Records attempt will see Mann cover the full marathon distance of 42.195 kilometres entirely through burpee broad jumps over the next ten days (concludes on October 15). Organised by Question Associates in collaboration with Fit India and officially recognised by the Sports Authority of India (SAI), the event is expected to redefine human endurance and resilience. India beat Korea and assured itself of a historic BWF World Junior Mixed Team Championships medal at the National Centre of Excellence in Guwahati.
The host beat Korea 44-45, 45-30, 45-33 in a nerve-wracking quarter-final clash, and set up a semi-final contest against Asian U-19 Mixed Team champion Indonesia, which defeated Chinese Taipei 45-35, 45-35.
The semi-final appearance also assured India of its first-ever mixed-team medal in the history of the BWF World Junior Championships.
