ISRO Plans Space Station by 2035 and Moon Mission by 2040

China Creates Lightest Mind-Control Device for Bees

Scientists in China have built the world's lightest brain controller, which can control the flight of bees. Developed by a team at the Beijing Institute of Technology, the device turns bees into cyborgs that could be used in military missions or rescue operations. This invention opens new possibilities in using insects for work that humans or machines cannot easily do.
The brain controller weighs just 74 milligrams, making it the lightest ever made. It is strapped to a bee's back and has three tiny needles that enter the bee's brain. The device sends electronic signals that guide the bee to fly left, right, forward, or back. In tests, the bees followed the commands 9 out of 10 times.

Israel Launches Communications Satellite Dror-1

Israel launched the communications satellite Dror-1 into space. The satellite was developed and built by the state-run company Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).
The satellite was successfully launched from the Cape Canaveral Space Launch Complex in the U.S. state of Florida aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. It was designed to meet Israel's communication needs for the next 15 years, both during routine operations and in emergencies, and will also support missions for the country's defense system.

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) launched the 'Kalaa Setu – Real-Time Language Tech for Bharat' Challenge through its WaveX Start-up Accelerator Platform. This national-level challenge invites start-ups to create AI-based tools that can turn text into audio, video, or graphic content in multiple Indian languages. The initiative supports innovation in language technology and content creation, especially for regional users.
The Kalaa Setu Challenge focuses on developing smart tools that can help turn written text into video, graphics, or audio using Artificial Intelligence (AI). The goal is to make it easier for people to create content in regional Indian languages. These tools should be easy to use, scalable, and useful for various media formats.
