Isro plans to build 'igloos' on the moon

Isro has started work on building igloos on the Moon. Human Eggs Grown in Laboratory

In a move likely to lead to improved fertility treatments, human eggs have been fully grown for the first time in a laboratory at the University of Edinburgh. Scientists from Britain and the US have grown egg cells, which were removed from ovary tissue at their earliest stage of development, to the point at which they are ready to be fertilised. The advance could potentially help cancer patients wishing to preserve their fertility while undergoing chemotherapy treatment and deepen scientific understanding of the biology of the earliest stages of human life.

The 23-story tall jumbo rocket, carrying a Cherry red Tesla Roadster from the assembly line of Musk's electric car company as a mock payload, thundered off its launch pad in billowing clouds of steam and rocket exhaust. This maiden flight marked the first time a privately financed rocket ever attempted to boost a payload out of earth's orbit.

Rover to spend 14 days on moon

Gearing up for its most challenging space mission, Indian Space Research Organization (Isro) is leaving no stone unturned to make the Chandrayaan-2 (lunar-2) mission a success. Unlike the first lunar mission when a PSLV rocket carried the spacecraft to the moon's orbit, this time heavy-payload lifter GSLV Mk II will launch the spacecraft weighing 3,290kg as the module will carry an orbiter, a rover and a lander to the moon.
