Daniil Medvedev beat Jannik Sinner 7-5, 6-3 in the Miami Open and moved to 6-0 in their career matchup. With this, Medvedev won his fourth ATP title of the year.
Medvedev is now the most sizzling player on the men's tour, winning 24 of his last 25 matches after the 1-hour, 34-minute triumph. His only loss came against top-ranked Carlos Alcaraz in the Indian Wells final.
MI Debutant Nehal Wadhera's 101-metre Six Lands Out of Stadium
Mumbai Indians debutant Nehal Wadhera hit the first 100-meter plus six of 2023 Indian Premier League season. Wadhera breached the mark during Mumbai Indians' first match of the season against Royal Challengers Bangalore at MA Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
Wadhera hit RCB's Karn Sharma for back-to-back sixes while the second one landed over the roof. Karn gave a bit of air to the ball and it pitched outside off stump as the southpaw smashed it hard over long-on for a maximum. However, Wadhera tried to make it a hat-trick of six and got caught on the next ball by Virat Kohli at the long-on area.
He shared a crucial 50-run partnership with Tilak Varma to rebuild the innings for Mumbai Indians who were four down for 48 at one stage.
Wadhera was signed by Mumbai Indians for his base price of INR 20 lakh in the IPL 2023 mini-auction. He has played only five first-class matches in his career so far but has already made a major impact with a double century and a century.
Fino Payments Bank and Rajasthan Royals Tie up for Digital Banking Partner
The 2008 champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Royals (RR) renewed their partnership with Fino Payments bank.
Following the renewal of the partnership, Fino Payments Bank was named the official digital banking partner of RR for IPL 2023.
The commercial financial institution partnered with the Jaipur-based outfit first in 2022.
The partnership focuses on bringing more attraction and engagement to the newly launched FinoPay digital savings accounts. The bank with the help of this partnership would look to increase its brand visibility and create an urge among users all around to download FinoPay.

India's P. V. Sindhu suffered a demoralising straight-game loss against Indonesia's Gregoria Mariska Tunjung in the summit clash of the Madrid Spain Masters Super 300 badminton tournament.
Sindhu, who slipped out of the elite top 10 after a series of early exits following her return from a five-month long injury lay-off, looked completely clueless during her 8-21 8-21 demolition at the hands of world number 12 Tunjung at Centro Deportivo Municipal Gallur.

Jaipur to Get India's 2nd Largest Cricket Stadium (02)
Vedanta's Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL) signed an MoU with the Rajasthan Cricket Association for the development of the world's third-largest cricket stadium in the village of Chonp in Jaipur. Vedanta's HZL will spend INR 300 crore on the stadium, one of the largest corporate investments in India's sports infrastructure. The stadium would be named as Anil Agarwal International Cricket Stadium, Jaipur.
It is one of the world's largest cricket stadiums with a seating capacity of 75,000, (2nd largest in India and 3rd largest in the world).
The MoU was signed by Bhawani Shankar Samota, Honorary Secretary, Rajasthan Cricket Association and Arun Misra, CEO Hindustan Zinc in the presence of C.P. Joshi, Hon'ble Speaker, Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha and Chief Patron, RCA, Priya Agarwal Hebbar, Chairperson, Hindustan Zinc and Non-Executive Director, Vedanta Ltd. and Vaibhav Gehlot, President, Rajasthan Cricket Association.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger inducted into Premier League Hall of Fame
The Premier League inducted former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and ex-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger into its Hall of Fame. This is the first time that managers were included in this prestigious list. The two managers had a fierce rivalry during the 1990s, with a combined 16 English top-flight titles to their names. Ferguson led Manchester United to 13 Premier League titles during his 26-year reign, while Wenger won three Premier League titles and seven FA Cups with Arsenal during his 22-year tenure. The Premier League Hall of Fame was launched in 2021 to honour players who have made an exceptional contribution to the league.
Shakib Al Hasan Becomes the Top T20I Wicket-taker
Bangladesh skipper Shakib Al Hasan surpassed Tim Southee and became the leading wicket-taker in the T20I format.
According to data from International Cricket Council (ICC), Shakib has 136 wickets in 114 T20I matches. On the other hand, Tim Southee has 134 wickets just two shy of Shakib's tally.
Shakib claimed this record by picking up a five-wicket haul against Ireland.

Canadian Teenager McIntosh Sets 400m Freestyle World Record
Summer McIntosh set a world record in the 400m freestyle at the Canadian swimming trials.
McIntosh finished in a time of 3:56.08 at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre to beat Titmus's time of 3:56.40.
Earlier in March 2023, McIntosh ended American Katie Ledecky's nine-year home pool winning streak when she touched first in the 200m freestyle at a Pro Series swim meet in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
BFI President Ajay Singh Elected as Vice-president of World Boxing Body
Boxing Federation of India (BFI) chief Ajay Singh was elected as the International Boxing Association (IBA) vice-president. Singh's appointed was confirmed during the IBA board of directors meeting.
Singh, who is in his second term as the BFI president, became IBA's third vice-president and will stay in the role till 2026 alongside Volodymyr Prodyvus of Ukraine and Serbia's Abdulmutalim Abakarov.
