Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Nitin Gadkari inaugurated two technology centres at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.
He also inaugurated three extension centres of big technological centres and seven mobile Udyam Express.
The mobile Udyam Express, vans will go to the villages and make people aware about all aspects of entrepreneurship along with imparting training to them.

Khattar Government Wins Trust Vote Comfortably
The BJP-JJP government in Haryana survived the floor test, comfortably defeating the no-confidence motion moved against it by the main opposition Congress.
The motion was defeated following division of votes.
At the end of a marathon six-hour discussion on the motion, Speaker Gian Chand Gupta announced in the House that 55 members had voted against the motion while 32 legislators had backed it.
The 55 members who voted against the motion included 39 from the BJP, 10 of ally Jannayak Janta Party, 5 Independents and Gopal Kanda from Haryana Lokhit Party.

Trivendra Singh Rawat Resigns
Trivendra Singh Rawat, the eighth Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, resigned from the top post on. He remained in office for about four years starting from March 2017.
Rawat, who was a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh member from 1979 to 2002, had played a key role in the formation of the state of Uttarakhand.
Rawat had a keen interest in social work from a very young age. Six years after joining RSS, he became the pracharak of the right-wing organisation for the Dehradun region. He, subsequently, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.
No-confidence Motion in Haryana Assembly
Amid the ongoing farmers' stir against the three central agriculture laws, the BJP-JJP combine ruling in Haryana and the main opposition Congress have issued a whip for the no-confidence motion of the latter in the state Legislative Assembly against an 'anti-farmer' government on March 10.
Even protesting farm union leaders have urged the people and legislators, especially the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP), to lobby their representatives in the assembly to support the motion.

S. Jaishankar Welcomes German Vision for Indo-Pacific
The Indo-Pacific has emerged as a new area of cooperation in the Indo-German strategic partnership, said Foreign Ministers of both countries while exchanging messages on the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar welcomed the German vision for the Indo-Pacific and called upon his counterpart Heiko Maas to enhance the quality of strategic engagement to face challenges to the global order.
Maas said that Germany's foreign policy guidelines on the Indo-Pacific represent a "commitment to even closer dialogue with India and the region in the future on issues ranging from urbanisation and green growth to rules-based international order". "The EU too needs to take such strategic approach to the Indo-Pacific," said the minister.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi listed five pillars for marking the celebrations of India's 75 years of Independence and said it should be a festival to mark the spirit of the freedom struggle and talk about the sacrifices of those who made it possible.
PM Modi made the comments during the meeting of the national committee to commemorate 'Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav' - a central government programme to mark 75 years of India's Independence.
The Prime Minister will launch 'Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav', the day Mahatma Gandhi launched Dandi March from Gujarat's Sabarmati Ashram in 1930.
Inter-state Boundary Talks with Assam after Election: Meghalaya CM Sangma
Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma said that there was no inter-state boundary talks with Assam due to Covid-19 pandemic but assured that his government will pursue the matter with the new government after the election in that state.
Sangma, who was speaking in the House, informed that several development projects undertaken by both governments at the disputed areas have been stopped.
He assured to look into the demand by Opposition members to stop the alleged illegal construction of a transit camp by the Assam government at Khanapara in the border district of Ri Bhoi in Meghalaya.

President Nath Kobind inaugurated the All India Judicial Academy Directors Retreat at Jabalpur and lit the lamp. PM Modi to Inaugurate Maitri Setu' Between India and Bangladesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 'Maitri Setu' between India and Bangladesh, a bridge built over the Feni River.
He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple infrastructure projects in Tripura during the event.
The bridge Maitri Setu' has been built over the Feni River which flows between the Indian boundary in Tripura and Bangladesh.
The name Maitri Setu' symbolizes growing bilateral relations and friendly ties between India and Bangladesh.
The 1.9 km long bridge joins Sabroom in India with Ramgarh in Bangladesh.
India's Biggest Kidney Dialysis Hospital
The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee inaugurated the biggest Kidney Dialysis hospital of the country.
The Guru Harikshan Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Kidney Dialysis Hospital was opened at Balasahib Gurudwara in Delhi. It provides free treatment to kidney patients.
The 100-bedded hospital is equipped with most technically advanced medical facilities where services will be provided free of cost to the patients.
There will also be no billing counter at the hospital. There will only be a registration counter to keep record of the patients.
Ten Outfits Extend Support to AIADMK
Ten smaller outfits, including the former Member of Parliament, A C Shanmugam-led Puthiya Needhi Katchi, extended their support to the AIADMK for the April 6 Tamil Nadu assembly elections.

Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh directed all state departments to move aggressively for the realisation of the 7-point 'Agenda 2022' unveiled by him recently.
The agenda, aimed at ensuring total protection of people and their properties in an environment of peaceful co-existence conducive to saving the lives and livelihood of all Punjabis against all odds, is centred around citizen welfare through a holistic focus on overarching development of the state.
The overarching goal of the agenda is to ensure the development of a Kaamyab & Kushal Punjab.

TMC MLA Sonali Guha to Join BJP
Sonali Guha, once a close aide of Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee and a four-time MLA of the party, said that she will join the BJP, two days after being denied a ticket for the upcoming assembly polls in West Bengal.

Shiv Sena Will Contest 20-25 Seats for Goa Assembly Election
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut announced that his party will contest at least 20-25 seats for the Goa Legislative Assembly election next year.
"The party will contest in all the Assembly constituencies where it has its presence," Raut said and added that there is largescale unrest against the BJP-led government in Goa but the opposition parties have failed to encash on these sentiments.
Actor Mithun Chakraborty Joins BJP
Bengali actor Mithun Chakraborty joined the BJP ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally at Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata.
The move comes weeks ahead of the Assembly elections in West Bengal, which are slated to begin on March 27. Speculations were rife that Mithun would be joining the saffron camp to boost the party's growing image in the state.
BJP Resolves to form Govt. in J-K on its Own
The BJP's Jammu and Kashmir unit adopted a resolution to form next government in the union territory of its own whenever the Assembly elections are held.
It also resolved to adhere to the positive politics for the welfare of the public and to "expose the negative politics of other parties" in the Union Territory as it accused them of "exploiting the people by making false and anti-national statements".
