South Korea to Develop Technology for Artificial Sun 'KSTAR' by 2026
The Korean government is planning to develop a technology for Korea's first artificial sun 'KSTAR' to maintain 100 million degrees for 300 seconds by 2026. The 300 seconds is the minimum time required for the commercialization of nuclear fusion technology.
The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on the 30th that it held the 16th National Fusion Committee at the Korea Institute of Fusion Energy and finalize the '4th basic plan of nuclear fusion energy development (2022-2026)'. The science ministry sets goals and directions of its policies for nuclear fusion energy development every 5 years.

First Magnetic Field on an Exoplanet
A team of astronomers used data from the Hubble Space Telescope for discovering the signature of a magnetic field on an Exoplanet. Such a feature has been seen on an exoplanet, for the first time.
A magnetic field around the planet explains the observations of an extended region of charged carbon particles. It streams away from it in a long tail.
Magnetic fields play a significant role in protecting planetary atmospheres.
Thus, the ability to detect the magnetic fields of exoplanets is a significant step of understanding what aliens' worlds may look like, in a better manner.
Researchers used the Hubble for observing the exoplanet HAT-P-11b. it is a Neptune-sized planet, located at a distance of 123 light-years from Earth.
Observations were made in ultraviolet light spectrum.

Iran Launches Satellite Carrier Rocket into Space
Iran launched a satellite carrier rocket bearing three devices into space, though it's unclear whether any of the objects entered orbit around the Earth.
Iran's semiofficial news agencies, did not say when the launch was conducted nor what devices the carrier brought with it. However, the launch comes amid difficult negotiations in Vienna over Iran's tattered nuclear deal.
Previous launches have drawn rebukes from the United States. The US State Department, Space Force and the Pentagon did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Japan Launches Inmarsat-6 F1 Communications Satellite
Japan launched Inmarsat-6 F1, a communication satellite, through a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) H-IIA204 rocket from Japan's Tanegashima Space Center that will enter geostationary orbit, about 22,240 miles (35,790 kilometres) above the earth. It is developed by the London-based company Inmarsat as a part of its next-generation satellite broadband service. The satellite is 12,060-pound (5,470 kilograms) and is the first of two 'I-6' spacecraft.

Japan Introduces World's First Dual-mode Vehicle
The world's first dual-mode vehicle hit the ground in the town of Kaiyo, Japan. It is said that the vehicle can run on roads as well as rail tracks.
The DMV looks like a minibus and runs on normal rubber tyres on the road. What makes this vehicle different from the rest is, it also has steel wheels in its underbelly which descend when it hits the rail tracks.
The front tyres are lifted off the track and the rear wheels stay down to propel the DMV onto the railway. This feature of effectively changing into a train-like module easily on a rail track is the first of its kind.
Ziyuan-1 02E- China's New Earth Resources Observation Satellite
A new Chinese Earth observation satellite named "Ziyuan-1 02E" was launched into space by China.
The satellite was launched for exploring natural resources.
It also launched a smaller satellite, which will be used for teaching geography at a school in Beijing.
Both the satellites took off from the Taiyuan Launch Center in Sjanxi Province, aboard the Long March 4C rocket.
The satellite, called Ziyuan-1 02E, has been equipped with a high-resolution infrared camera, a long-wavelength infrared camera and a multi-spectrum imager. The satellite is designed for an eight-year lifespan in Earth orbit. It was launched with the objective of mapping the Earth's surface in high resolution to explore the natural resources. Data from satellite will be used to alert for environmental disasters and monitoring water quality.
TCS Successfully Tests Neural Manufacturing Solutions on Airtel 5G Network
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Bharti Airtel Limited (Airtel) announced the successful testing of TCS' neural manufacturing solutions suite on Airtel's ultra-fast 5G network.
Following the allocation of 5G trial spectrum by the Department of Telecommunications, TCS and Airtel partnered to test use cases from TCS' neural manufacturing suite of solutions.
TCS successfully tested two use cases on Airtel's 5G testbed – remote manufacturing operations using robotics, and vision-based quality inspection, demonstrating how TCS' neural manufacturing solutions and 5G technology can transform plant operations, and significantly boost quality, productivity, and safety.
